I think wanted systems are always kind of tricky, because ultimately, they’re always kind of shallow, naturally as a consequence of the fact that this is still a game and we need to be able to complete the story without getting derailed by virtual law enforcement.
Personally, if I was setting the behavior of the wanted system, I would scale it back considerably for most occasions so that there’s little to no response unless you’re actually in proximity to the NCPD, or in an area where their presence would be densest, like in Corpo Plaza or something. CDPR needs to also set Pacifica as an actual dark zone for law enforcement. I never kill innocent civilians so I haven’t encountered them there, but the fact that they can appear if you do something illegal breaks the story logic.

Sometimes I miss them hiding in corners whilst I'm throwing grenades like confetti I’m basically an old fogey when I drive in populated areas in the city. I always park my car in the parking structure at the home megatower, and I actually try not to hit the people walking in front of the entrance. I wish the car horn actually made them run out of the way, the bastards.

They’ve never really been convincing to me, because the game just doesn’t permit a proper consequence for wanton mayhem, but then I find killing random innocent people in the streets in a game really unappealing anyway. I have plenty of gangoon scum that can eat lead. I take great pleasure in being a boring player that takes a long time to get between points and wait at red lights lol

I got all that crap out of my system over a decade ago with GTA 4 being the last time I deliberately did the "Murder spree" thing. I find that entire idea the most boring, unappealing thing you can imagine at this point. The only game I've ever played to give proper consequence for Crime was Kingdome Come Deliverance, where you could potentially spend weeks of in game time sitting in a Cell, getting your Skills de-leveled because your just sitting in a cell starving and not working. Oblivion experimented with that concept but didn't go anywhere near far enough to be truly punishing in any way. I always do at least 1 killing spree (after saving ofc) to test things like that whenever a new game with "law" systems come out. Even though I basically never interact with the NCPD System and almost never will, I would still prefer the system not be complete ass if possible.

The immersion and playing the game according to motivations the character might actually have is cool, and sadly a lost art. Every kid these days just wants to play a 1st person MP shooter & tea-bag their friends... pathetic. No love for a fun, well-crafted story

For the record, my big test was I drove up onto a sidewalk with like 50 people on it. I ran over 30 of them down and had 4 stars instantly. which is when the infamous MaxTec shows up. But I'm already in my car....so I just casually drove down the road and it was over a few moments later. I'm no longer a wanted criminal. That is literally a placeholder system that is unacceptable. Regardless of weather or not I do crimes willingly.

I get that CDPR hyped people up with unrealistic PR speak, but the criticism directed at CDPR for only increasing the spawn range was amusing to me. Isn't that exactly what a Wanted system is? LOL. I get that Rockstar gives players lots of fun things to do in there open worlds, but there Wanted system have always been as broken as any other game.

Civilians act and react so unrealistically I don't even feel bad about it! It bothers me about as much as doing a million side quests when I have an urgent main quest to do. Its just one of those weird video game things. LOL.

To me the biggest disappointment with Cyberpunk 2077 was all the unrealistic hype the management did prior to the game's release. The release was buggy and messy, but those things can be fixed for games like Andromeda or AC: Unity might have had their sins hurt the game's sales, but at the end the final product was good the problem with CDPR is now they have all those words said that I don't think ever be met.

So, finally doing the final (?) job with the Aldecados; assault on Mikoshi/the Tower Sadly, I seem to have my 1st major bug. The goddamn Panzer/basilisk is not working (I cannot enter). Panam is standing on it telling me we don't have time & to get my ass inside... I am unable to Help?

It's the worst sometimes losing progress, but this method has helped sometimes.

Basically you start off where you were literally before you started the final mission, but you are unable to carry your progress over to an entire new game. It's really just to clean up any remaining missions you have left, but there may be some that are permanently locked out. I'm not sure of which ones are affected by that though.
I too went with the nomad ending for the first one, will try out the others on my new PT.

If you feel like grinding, you can easily max a 3rd attribute and it probably should be Tech. On my last playthrough I realised that mods are the most powerful thing in the game, you can usually stack them to get the highest possible score, so legendary clothes with multiple Armadillo mods become are extremely OP defensively. You can also use mods that boost your crit damage if you prefer the glass canon approach. I never tested it, but possibly Tech is the most OP skill in the game as it gives you crafting possibilities and crafting a lot of mods of the type you want is very useful.

So I played more of the game last week, doing more missions I never did the first time through (which was a lot, even tho the first time took 80 hours). Then this week I started replaying Witcher 3 again after 5 years. And holy crap, CD really is just bad at designing gameplay. Actually Cyberpunk is probably the least bad gameplay they've done so far. It's still bad and clunky, but holy toledo Witcher 3 is Clunky as HELL. I remembered I was never impressed with the gameplay back then, but fighting groups of enemies feels so terrible, all you can do is spam Quen and dodge roll, stopping to do like 1 stab before dodging for another minute, because they constantly interrupt all your attacks, while your attacks don't interrupt theirs at all. That 1 fact alone just makes the whole system implode.

That 1 fact alone just makes the whole system implode. Just learn to dodge instead of rolling. When you successfully evade, you avoid damage and get into a position to attack right away. Rolling is useful to get yourself out of a bad situation, but overusing it is ineffective. IIRC you can learn to riposte/block humans pretty easily. You can also use all of the other tools Geralt has like bombs, potions, other signs than quen etc. Gameplay gets better when you level up a bit and learn to use other tools that roll-and-stab. But yes, Cyberpunk allows for much more variety. It's pretty good as far as aRPG's go.

That 1 fact alone just makes the whole system implode. The combat mechanics was probably the thing that made it hard for me to really stick with the game for a long period of time. For whatever issues the game might have mechanically, Cyberpunk at least satisfied me greatly with its weapons combat. After years of dedicated play with Destiny and Destiny 2, I think CP2077’s no slouch when it comes to gunplay, and I think overall they did a great job with weapons animation and sound effects, which counts for quite a bit on that front (as a side note, sound design is a major complaint I have with Outriders, adding to my dissatisfaction). The melee combat leaves much to be desired, but this mainly rears its ugly head during the Beat on the Brat sidequest, which is a bad marriage of fisticuffs and boss sponginess.
