Ok. Ok. Ok. &@_$$(/#;:&++&&$;;?*))#+,@$-&!!!!1! This playthrough was supposed to save the broken quests, not destroy them! Serious issues going on - Autojock is bugged out, seems like I might be missing one car but the lists available on the web seem mostly out-of-date or have conflicting information. Seems like I'm missing a Quartz EC-L, but one site said there was a text error in the description and that one of my Quartz cars is that car... I have made a list of my cars on paper, so trying to identify which car I'm missing and then attempt to slum around in that borough for who knows how long to get the trigger to buy... I am L50/SC50. Every quest complete except for Nocturne, Kerry had his little adventure with the KPop/JPop girls, finished Swedenborg and kept Johnny smiling about it lol... I just need a trigger for the last car(s).... Motherfrakker! Then, there is the "Find all the fast travel waypoints" cheevo, which I understand is supposed to be painful but... Jimminy Christmas. It seems like my only resort with both of these is to wander aimlessly or follow long videos to the letter. This will solve the latter, 'fraid it won't help the former. Anyone got a trick here, or know some up-to-date reference material for the cars in this quest? Edit - Frequent Flyer is done, was missing one in Badlands, one in Watson and one downtown under a bunch of overpasses. Autojock is confounding at this point. I picked a lot and spent the time to park all of my vehicles there. Then like a farmer, I counted chickens in the coop. 5 Motorcycles. About to try to start The Highwayman, might have blown it there but the reward isn't supposed to count towards this cheevo. 35 cars. Will post a shot of the parking lot, my parallel skills were average but no car was scratched making this a full lot Ugh, not sure what I'm missing but here we go with another stab at it. Hanako is patient.
Edit 2 - 6 motorcycles, including the Arch Nazare Itsumade. Still no achievement, and I have triple-checked the Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki. This is frustrating, and I guess I'll waste some time filing a bug report lol. A total of 41 vehicles, and I am always an autojockstrap and never an autojockey

Re: Autojock - have you got the purchased Caliburn? The white one? The achievement didn’t fire for me until I had both. Apparently the free black one didn’t count when I did it. #racism.
Otherwise, shit. That is a seriously frustrating one to bug out. Sorry, man.

That was my first playthrough, LS Jedi/Wizard. This playthrough, lots of nihilism. Night City is full of people trying to fuck each other over, or wasting their lives on drugs or BD. I leave the addicts alone, and the pedestrians only rarely get run over. Look at me wrong with yellow over your head, you're dead fucker. That's the true Cyberpunk attitude.

Yes, was the second to last purchase, then I got a call from Regina to buy Nash's ride (I guess I killed him hehe uhm oops oh well). The Caliburn (wht/red/gold) counts for the cheevo, Nash's ride does not but I have it anyway. Oh well. Going to move on to Tabula Rasa and refocus on Pistols, get that pistol CC cheevo. Maybe something will click for the game at some point. Fun fact - write down where you park all your cars. Otherwise, if you forgot to save there, you will have no idea where in Night City your 41 vehicles are chilling. No big deal, right choom? Except I didn't take a screenshot. Super Facepalm.

Frustrating. I've just finished Greedfall, and for some reason it just randomly stopped triggering achievements. Not that any of them require the time/effort of Autojock, but still.

They give us a Skinner Box, make us run the maze, and then we get no treats. This isn't how operant conditioning works people.

Trying tp mmmmmake a melee bbuild work on hard. Is not much fun until I unlocked sandevistan. Now irs actually not so hard anymore. It really struggles to strike balance between cakewalk and too spongy.
Anyway, remember the fascination witzh Centzon Tequila? Well I found out Centzon Totochtin is Mexican myth about 400 monnnkey party gods making out on eternal drunk party. A befitting name

Well I found out Centzon Totochtin is Mexican myth about 400 monnnkey party gods making out on eternal drunk party. A befitting name And I assume that's what you were drinking when you made this post?
This is my final form. Haven't really started the playthrough yet, but I made the character. Street Kid, going to be a physical monster and blunt instrument of doom. I have done Nomad to the Stars (Sun Ending) Corpo to the Nomads (Star), then did Corpo to Devil and Temperance rather quickly. Physical Street Boy will play, for himself, a slave to few achievements (other than ones made for the DLC or for his build purpose) and definitely an empty Eff bucket.
5 achievements remain. Autojock (which hopefully will work at some point), Gunslinger (should be easy with Sandevistan, Gun Fu sure was), Must Be Rats (strange this hasn't happened yet, does it have to be consecutive?), Rough Landing & V for Vendetta (never done a true physical build yet, haven't had the Body to equip good enough 2nd Heart, never used Berserk)
Autojock is annoying in that it is just a fetch quest with money as the conditional. The others actually require a little skill, and that you surpass an in-game obstacle. Sigh.
Edit - lots of divs added to this quoted post. I cannot understand why. Anyways, Gunslinger was fairly easy. Don't be a dummy like me and forget that not all pistols are revolvers. Of course I wasn't so hare-brained that I was using a Smart/Tech pistol, but rather the Malorian Arms, which is a Power pistol, despite looking like a revolver. Derpela Spammerson, that's me. Except my name's V. (unintentional rhyme, walking away)

I’m still a while away from my next run, but am pondering.
I don’t like the male VAs voice, but will need to do at least one (probably only one) run with him so that Panam will unleash her Betty Davis eyes. If you don’t understand that reference, please remove yourself from my lawn.
I still also have River Ward to romance, if I can make it through a 4th run. My first two runs were both Judy lovers. First a street kid, then a nomad…which may have been a mistake, since clearly a nomad V with Panam makes sense…right? I know it will work with any background, but still. Role playing games gotta role play.
So herein lies the problem.
Think nomad should romance Panam. Must be male. Don’t want male to be my last. Don’t want Corpo to be my last. Also don’t want River Ward to be my last. Don’t think I have more than 4 runs in me. These are first world problems but the math just isn’t my friend.
Git gud and do a 5th run some time in the future where another street kid femV who goes with Judy? Fine. You’ve all made very compelling arguments.

I'll likely wait till the expansion comes out to do my second run, this time with male V. It seems it's a side mission that can be done during the main campaign and not an extension of the story, based on leaks. I also want to see how they improve the overall experience before diving back in. They've got most of the studio working on the expansion so I'm hoping it'll be ambitious.

Yeah, my plans sploded everywhere.
After first playthrough, I had my typical post-ending depression and needed to give the game some space for a while. After my second, I decided to cheese that save for all the endings I hadn't done yet.
Almost immediately, rolled another V and have built Luther from Umbrella Academy. Gorilla Arms... My body build was absolutely pissing me off, underwhelming as hell, frustrating my freedom. Got Gorilla Arms and the world is now my basic bitch.
I basically sploosh any head I punch. Attacking Raffen Shiv with Panam was hard with my Assault based V.... This V just jumped into the middle and ran around one-punching for 30 seconds and was, "Hey Panam, 'sup?"
Just playing this guy for the build and missing cheevos. As much as the sameness is boring me, I am still managing to find "new" in the game, both in terms of small pieces of content as well as gameplay.
I do feel that once I get my physical cheevs done, I will shelf this guy - gotta save something for the DLC.

Ah - Gorilla Arms... Punch them once, that's fine. Punch them twice, that's OK. Punch them three times, you're playing with your Purée'd meat again.
----
After PT# 1, I was almost certain that I wouldn't be spending more money on this game (i.e. buying the DLC). After PT# 2 with patch 1.5, I am almost certain that I will get it.

No, reading your post, you don't get it DKR With this physical build and gorilla arms, I punch once and they're dead. Not incapacitated, dead, missing a head. It was splooshified. So, got my body up to 18, feeling like a Mini- Giant Ambush Beetle. Equipped Legendary Second Heart. Immediately decided to run into a bad situation, and unsurprisingly got killed, saw grey screen, was ready to reload. Never used Second Heart, thought I missed something. Second Heart kicks in, I popped up and mopped up. Don't fuck with Luther V. V for Vendetta, achieved by 1.6% of the purchasers, is now mine. Two remain, and I'm about to get one of them. Autojock and the Berserker Superhero thingy. 95%. Guess I will be 100% before DLC drops. I have raised my rating of the current game on GOG to a 3. I had gushingly given it a 4 after my first playthrough, but second run exposed some long-running issues they still haven't dealt with and also showed more how surface-deep the game is, so I dropped it to a 2. The game is 3 out of 5. Almost there. Still fun, I am nearing 400hrs, although it will definitely be shelved when I get the platinum until DLC drop, which I will buy. The potential of this game is like Anthem. So much more could have been done. Sadly, the making of this game was also like Anthem. Thankfully there has been a little more post support.

No, reading your post, you don't get it DKR With this physical build and gorilla arms, I punch once and they're dead. Not incapacitated, dead, missing a head. It was splooshified. Ah - interesting. I had...purple (or yellow?) Gorilla Arms and used them to keep the cop-turned-fixer happy with the cyberpsycho gigs, and with other fixers who didn't want fatalities. I made a quip out of it, but I was being literal. Two hits knocked them out. A third turned their heads into mush. My V was high Tech and moderate reflexes, cool and Int. Low body, even though she was obviously bangin'. Makes sense, though, that your high Body V would release the pain in one shot. The game is 3 out of 5. Almost there. Still fun, I am nearing 400hrs, although it will definitely be shelved when I get the platinum until DLC drop, which I will buy. I'm a 8/10 now, I think. It's very good. I wish it were TPP, but not interested in having that conversation again. I wish there was more content with romantic partners after sexy-time, but this game is hardly alone in that regard. If I were playing at the moment, there'd probably be a bunch of other little things I'd wish for, but they're all in the margins. The potential of this game is like Anthem.

So I'm replaying this and I have now decided that V died in the ride to the No-Tell-Motel right beside Jackie and everything else after that is the "afterlife". That works well with all the foreshadowing early in the game: - V telling Jackie what's what about fixers: hire the cheapest gunk and dump their bodies in a landfill - the tarot reading from Misty pre-Heist - Jackie also has some foreshadowing comments about dying before the Heist It can even explain quests like Sinnerman and hunting down the tarot cards. It explain collecting cars (and romances): V is trying to achieve things they never managed in life! Oh and Mr. Blue Eyes too. He's like an angel or a demon ( not a reptilian)...from Alpha Centauri. And now everything doesn't matter, so I don't have to feel annoyed by what V is railroaded into. Right? used them to keep the cop-turned-fixer happy with the cyberpsycho gigs, and with other fixers who didn't want fatalities. I'm not sure with which patch they changed it, but most cyberpsycho don't die right away even if you use lethal weapons now, just don't aim for the head too much. And gorilla arm to the head works like an headshot from a lethal weapon (it was like that at release, my first V was a boxer beheading machine).

I knew I always had to be careful with the gorilla arms. I mentioned earlier the "3 strikes" rule I had. Basically, with 3 hits to the head, they dead. I knew I could use guns and blades to get their health down, and then switch to non-lethal weapons, but in my most recent PT there was a fine line with a few of them. Fine to the point that I occasionally needed to reload and try again.

Fine to the point that I occasionally needed to reload and try again. The rule for "real death" seems to be hit to the head that cause the enemy to reach zero HP (even if the weapon is labelled none-lethal). Weapons seems to have a chance of dismemberment one top (maybe it's damage based but shotgun have a perks to increase the chances). Katana, gorilla arms, shotgun and revolvers are good at dismemberment from what I played...oh and grenades. Also, hitting a downed enemy (i.e. the ones wriggling on the group defeated) will kill them, even if it's just the weapon whack...and sometimes walking on them do it too. The eye cyberware mod that turn all weapon none-lethal mention that its remove headshots. That's basically all it does to make all weapons none-lethal. You can still kill enemies if you hit them post defeat with that cybermod (unless they changed that since release, I haven't tried it since). Saying that, gorilla arms are tricky. Especially at higher body/skill level since you can hit too fast and depending which mod you are using cause after-hit damage on top. If you don't want to accidentally kill people with them: aim low and avoid using strong attacks (especially a fully charged one).

So they're teasing new content in the next patch. My guess is some new outfits and weapons. They typically don't talk this stuff up if it's a standard patch so I am curious.

My most recent play is on hold for a minute, kind of lost interest after getting 100%. Ozob fight was very difficult with my boxer build, but it made me learn something about the game's hitboxes. This confirms some of azarhal 's observation I think. There also may be a "Banshee Rule" involved that triggers after a certain amount of damage is received in X amount of time. The difficulty is that my boxer punches way too hard. Hit Ozob in the face, he's gonna blow. I like Ozob, he's a real Bozo ya know? So, I kept reloading and learned that I should punch him in the gut if I didn't want him to die. This made the fight artificially long as I couldn't just brute force his face off. Not a great implementation, their melee hitboxes, but better than I generally give them credit for. I am interested in what the new content has for us, will check out that video.

I just learned that you can get an iguana (since 1.5). You can take an egg during the Heist. How did I miss that? I always check the iguana and I just did the quest twice in the last week. *sigh* Now I'm scared that 1.6 is going to add some more stuff to the Heist.

Who the F is Mr BlueEyes I keep reading about? The biggest conspiracy theory of Night City! He shows up in the Peralez quest and the Sun ending (he's the one who send V into space do an heist). He is probably one of the blue eyes "reptilians" Garry the Prophet is ranting about and there is some references when doing Sandra Dorsett quest too (the one post Heist, not the intro). I think some other quests/text mention him or at least "blue eyes" or his "employer": Night Corp. The theory is that he's part of what is really controlling Night City (Night Corp) trying to boot out the other corps and/or that he's a rogue AI...
