I have crafted a Brya tech revolver. Thought is was bugged, cos it didn't charge. It still shoots through wall without - just like Panam's sniper rifle. It's a pretty hefty hand cannon. One that doesn't require perks in handguns. Burya shoot as if always charged. You can use it like a sniper rifle once you get the handgun perks that increase damage on enemies far away (handgun damage gets reduced with distance otherwise). Downside: the aim scope isn't aligned properly so just use the reticule and it can't get a silencer. Every weapons have penetration level, Panam's sniper doesn't pierce as much as the Burya or charged tech weapons can pierce. I actually tested it. I'm using a gimped tech weapon specialist. Gimped, because I barely put points into assaul and handgun tree. Instead I went full INT+TECH. Crafted a legendary Dian for CC DPS and that works quite fine, too. Replaces a green Satara since I couldn't find better tech shotte BPs.

So I noticed that Shotgun crit damage (and subsequently DPS) increases after kills, regardless of the weapon used to earn the kill. What is going on? LOL. Do all Shotguns do this? Is it a perk? I got no idea.

Gorilla arms and shotguns seem to give the most mileage in funny ragdolls. I've been beating on enemies with sticks but it's not as satisfying as the arms. Still, the shotguns provide good ranged options, though close range only. Mixing grenades in is also good fun for making stuff go fly.

I've been using a Legendary Divided We Stand, basically feels like being RoboCop.
^Haha. That's pretty much how it goes. Though I supposed a handgun like headshot Skippy would be more in line with RoboCop's actual weapon.

Yeah Skippy modded - black skin and silence the voice. It's already a burst fire weapon. Great idea actually, lol.
For maximum hilarity, I still prefer the Yinglong. The fire rate and EMP blasts are so nice. Looks great, sounds great.
Or Ba Xing Chong, if you want to kill a spawn with the least amount of shells without having to aim.

Pretty much the build I have going with my Street Kid playthrough except I've transitioned off my shotgun since acquiring a Legendary DR-5 Nova handgun that does 3x the damage and reloads substantially faster...it also has 6 augmentation slots...it's pretty ridiculous. Also always maintain a high tier sniper rifle for those long distance opportunities. Ultimately though I agree just beating people like raggi'muffins with my gorilla arms augmented with electrical damage is best.

I'm currently working on a 20 Body, 20 Reflexes, and 20 Intelligence character on my second playthrough. My character is level 30 right now and is already too OP.

Even just high Intelligence alone turns you into the angel of death. You can basically do a no-weapons build at that point.

Yes and able to use smart weapons and not least if skills selected, able to craft rare and ultra weapons, which again with just shovels Euro$ into V's pocket by selling the crafted weapons.
My second game run as Corpo with net-runner like build, I got full Street Cred 50 like 1/3 in game and level 36 here half during. Just be doing the the missions, side jobs/gig and not least respond to NCPD scanner.

Because apparently the game doesn't have any interesting build according to the internets, lets prove people wrong. ... Interesting, I think the internets seem to get it dead wrong regarding interesting builds. I have enjoyed my first playthrough a lot due to the settings, characters and immersiveness alone. But what really makes it shine imo is the replayablility as different builds have made the experience vastly different for me. Even just high Intelligence alone turns you into the angel of death. You can basically do a no-weapons build at that point. Yep . That is what I picked in my first playthrough (male V stealth/netrunner/sniper build). I did not even draw any guns many times after acquiring the higher tier quickhacks combined with crit damage perks. Especially the combos of ping, wallhack quickhacking perks and contagion or short circuit with spreading perks were hilarious at times. I am pretty sure that most of the non-random npcs are still snoring away somewhere inisde those save files.
As I found the Kerenzikov surprisingly handy in some parts of that run, I started a second playthrough with a female V Sandevistan gunner build (mainly speccing into body and reflexes at first). This one is an absolute blast to play, as it really makes the wide variety of available guns shine.
I get quite a noticed vibe of ME3 Multiplayer feeling with it in regards to varied gunplay when going into bullet-time combat with different guns. The same mundane "crime in progress" map marker feels very different to play with a carnage shotgun vs. f.ex. a headshot-focused pistol such as Dying Night. Goofy stuff like close-range bullet-time sniping is also fun to do.
And with all those combat health regen perks it feels a bit like a stylish human female version of a Krogan in full rage mode .
Speaking of Krogan, melee is of course something that has been high on the agenda lately. I have also felt that going at it with Katana or Sticks was not as much fun as I thought it would be after some time. But this sounds very cool, so I will definitely give it a try .
