I force Haali, Gabest & Xvid for video. I also force: AC3Filter, AC3ACM, Vorbis & LAME codecs for audio... More than likely your going to say this is basically CCCP -or not.
That codec pack for some reason will not install successfully on my computer. Gets about 2/3rds the way then undoes what it was doing.
Probably because I don't update the players I don't need that update crap even from media players.
CCCP uses LAV for video and audio decoding. LAV supports a lot of video and audio formats like AC3, FLAC, Vorbis, DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC. It even supports Intel's QuickSync and Nvidia's CUDA hardware acceleration. CCCP used to include Haali as well but now LAV Splitter handles all the media containers instead. So in my case, LAV does all the heavy lifting and MPC-BE actually doesn't do much at all. This is what I prefer because it just works all the time for me, but I probably wouldn't recommend to most people.

Sorry about the delay. So putting the Power high performance as I have done actually improves the Cinebench score but tanks the SPY? I'd say the results are about the same; they fall within the margin of error. I only did one run. Yes. your OC beats this by at least 300-500 points I am going to say. Certainly. But then there is the temperature to consider.

I was thinking a bad PSU -but already took care of that and the same thing.
Don't know why but putting the power limit to 99% in the the plan makes it not jag. Could be a bad VRM on the MoBo.

I am just looking for richer sound over all I'm a little late to the game, and the guys have been tackling this already. My thoughts: How about a 5.1 system, where you only have or utilize the three (hopefully identical two-way) front speakers? Then using either hardware or software, adjust the output and set both bass and treble lower. I don't know if this would work for you, just a thought.
edit: actually bmwcrazy suggested something like this already.

5 or even 7.1 Surround Sound would be amazing.....But my bedroom is not set-up for that. It's just not feasible with the shape and layout (or sq footage) of my room unfortunately though I do appreciate the suggestions.

You've finally posted the right video. In this case, the right video for normalizing volume in VLC. You can pretty much ignore the first two videos that you've posted before. Haha. So if your movie playback app is VLC, this is how you normalize the volume with its built-in dynamic range compression. (For Energizer Bunny 211: Just make sure you change VLC's audio output to stereo instead of 5.1 first.) If you just want to change the center mix channel volume, there should also be an option for it in VLC. I don't use VLC. So yeah, gotta figure that out yourself as well. It should always be the first step to bump up the db before using the latter program video. Especially with someone who isn't hearing all that well. The first videos will help boost the audio and THEN the second will help in the areas where sound is still need -if needed.
The first two videos show where to up the dB in each program -if your speakers can handle it.
I would recommend always do that first before getting speakers for $$$.
You can max out your speakers in Windows then go into the those areas and bump the db up a great amount. Here is what I mean in action: You should be able to hear the difference very well... However if you can't... Credit me worried. There was no difference to me; they both sounded equally annoying and horrible because of the ringing in my ears. Trying playing that video on top of (in addition to) a 7000 hz pure tone at the same time and you'll hear what I hear. I appreciate the suggestions though.

It's just not feasible with the shape and layout (or sq footage) of my room unfortunately though I do appreciate the suggestions. Space is always the problem with speakers, but the setup I'm thinking for you might just take three small speakers, something like these: Edifier R1700BT On Amazon
Three of those (or something similar) would be your front left, front center and front right. I doubt adding more speakers or a subwoofer would benefit you in any way.

Updates gone wrong are kind of tricky to resolve and may need several command prompt commands. Luckily they often sort themselves out after a while.

THIS 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Times over...
I tried Windows Update with Windows 10 -ONCE! -when first forced to use 10.
The biggest thing I hate about it... Any changes you make to the OS get undone when you don't want them undone in some updates. The trouble is you never know which Update will bork your OS... -its like Russian Roulette.
Example:
Program installs *Cough**Cough* CORTANA *Cough**Cough* when you had deleted it.
After the update that whole video was undone by lovely old MS Windows Update in all its glorious STUPIDITY.
I will stay with the 1909 version I installed years ago and clone it if I need it anywhere else. Windows 10 is a Tech savvy persons nightmare... I actually had a nightmare about Win 10...
Rant concluded... return to your mundane Mondays...

I was officially diagnosed in February of 2019, but due to chronic ear infections I have had since childhood...I first noticed a change in hear in 2017. But I never did anything about it because I couldn't take time off work and I downplayed it "oh it's nothing it's just because I'm getting sick"
Consequently in 2017 I had 9 major ear infections between September and May ( five of which actually landed me in the hospital) and I either never got them treated at all....or left treatment late, well past the optimal window of time when I should have seen a doctor.
Then in March of 2018 I went for my first hearing test as an adult.
After a year of all kinds of tests and specialists...none of them knowing what or why... it was my GP who put all the puzzles pieces together...who looked at the evidence of symptoms combined with the very strange test results....and he gave me the diagnosis of Meniere's Disease.

I never had it this bad. My worst with tinnitus was just an occasional high pitch ringing that lasted about 30 secs...
That however was way back in my childhood and connected to what should be a wonderful event...
The event of course was eating and while for most its splendid it was a horrid event for me.
An event that made trying new foods even more scary.
Speaking of scary...
My grandmother from farther south called tinnitus: Death Bells!
Apparently it was a superstitious thing about hearing phantom bells and death... I will not talk about such things here.

Well here is a excerpt from my early existence that could help your hearing issues. Unless you already do this -in which case I am glad you didn't suffer the other part.
The tinnitus I had was early in my life about age 8-12 and it didn't really bother me. Though I did notice something:
The ringing usually happened when I would eat certain foods that I loved. This ran in conjunction with a far worse issue though:
Bleeding tongue -but that is a small price to pay for cheese pizza, french fires or fried chicken! Anytime I ate foods like this and suffered the bleed -I would hide it from my family. Because in my family growing up: Bleeding=Doctor/Hospital -BARBARIANS!
I'm Spock, Batman & Tesla combined -with apparently a not very observant family -so it was easy to hide.
Also by experimenting I found that milk would clear up the bleeding and the ringing.
But if I ate something again right after the milk -back the bleeding and ringing came. It did get annoying though: Eat said food > Bleeding Tongue > D.B. > Drink milk > Silence >Eat again and REPEAT!
Time after time -Annoying and irritating...... ANNOYRITATING! I had enough by the time I was nearing 13th Birthday. It was time to figure out the source before my family would get wise & lucky me I found it: a food additive. The irony is that when I stopped adding it to the foods the Death Bells & the Bleeding Tongue stopped for good.
I haven't had a repeat of either in over 20 years. Positive side is I still can enjoy my pizza and chicken if I so desire.
Sorry I digressed: It was Salt.
I have cut it out as much as a I could -removed any salty things from my menu and added non-salty BBQ sauce in place of ketchup and mustard. Oh. LORD! MUSTARD -it was a big contributor to all of it.

Though for you maybe this persons' advice can help: Hmm. They even mention the additive.
Maybe there is something to this? Maybe not.
I watched the advertisement -its linked in hypertext there on that page -I won't link it here.
In it there is good information -part of which turns out to be to reduce the additive...
Guess I should have been a scientist.
More good info: Increase B1, B2, & B6 Vitamins & Potassium to help lessen ear ringing... Supposedly...
But with your severity I don't how much it would help at all but if it is a scam it has a grains of truth there.
I WARN YOU: I watched it for just the information. I DON'T condone spending money on any supplement except well...
GABA -That I would get.
It is so CALMING.
It was given when my Gall Bladder needed removal and sent my thyroid and body out of wack.
Maybe some of this will be of help.
If not you still have my condolences.

Death Bells! Apparently it was a superstitious thing about hearing phantom bells and death... This saying -to be precise: Death Bell- has origins in the Old World for sure. I'm guessing Irish ancestry? Though for you maybe this persons' advice can help: I'm going to dissect the page you linked; I'm qualified to do that. <I'm not a medical doctor so I can't give medical advice> This. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. <Pressure in my ear is due to inflammation brought on primarily (though not exclusively) by water retention.> Fact <Tinnitus, I had no idea what caused the tinnitus> Tinnitus happens when the hair cells in the cochlea are under pressure or damaged. <I'd cleaned up my diet. I was Vegan. No dairy, extremely little sodium, no booze, little bread. I was clean living.> This would benefit almost everyone. <I wrote a journal detailing all my meals, snacks, moods, stresses, workouts, meditation sessions, blood pressure, etc.> This is a good idea and possibly useful. <If you reduce the sodium intake, chances are you'll reduce the severity of the symptoms.> Reducing your sodium intake is always a good idea. <fluid pressure, which is a type of inflammation> There are severel causes for fluid pressure. We don't know what the cause is in Meniere's. <I quit the booze, except for that glass of rosé I had last night!> I would abstain completely just to see if it makes a difference. <Water Fasting> Would advice against.

Except there isn't. I quote: <Silencil is an all-new formula that has been designed to tackle the root cause of tinnitus - i.e., brain tissue and nerve inflammation.> That's too bad, because that isn't the root cause of tinnitus.
