Ever heard of hyperspace travel? Or what about slipspace travel? Both of which require fictional substances that don’t exist in the ME universe. Also Slipspace is slower that ME FTL being less than 3 ly/day. But it's not impossible to create an alternative in the ME universe. And since the alien races don't use either, they won't be able to counter ships jumping from nowhere. Also, Reapers don't use energy weapons. Just an FYI.

Pretty sure we see Reapers shooting plasma lasers.

It's hard to fight an enemy who can enter in and out of your home system without using the mass relays, not knowing where they'll appear next.

Yeah the reaper weapon is not really presented well visually. Firing molten metal shouldn’t look like a War of the Worlds heat ray.

Your point was they couldn’t counter jumps into the system from places other than Mass Relays, but they can since many of not most habited planets aren’t in Relay systems.

Except it wouldn’t, since all major systems already have fleets defending them (especially once war is known) and those fleets would be better than humanity’s. Just face it: Humanity would be nowhere near the threat Rachni or Krogan were.

If it's against a well organized, smart human military that is more advanced than the sorry excuse that is the Council races, then the Council races would get reck'd.

It's recorded they take centuries to finish. They would check all worlds, especially garden ones, and if even in the stone age reap them. This is all established in the lore. But whatever, I'm done trying to argue with the wall that you are.

It’s established that the reapers miss quite a few spots anyway. And that they leave the younger races alone. Unless said race would never develop AIs, like the Harvesters or whatever their race was called.
