Simply as the title state. The stock photo she was given is atrocious and a sin upon humanity itself that it exists. They don't need to reinvent the entire game to replace a photo in a single scene, but replace it they must. There are so many good options

I used photo as an example, I wouldn't mind her being more alien either. I just don't want her to be a stock photo of an Indian woman with 3 fingers and couple of wires.

All of them are human, humanoid or using human facial expressions to convey emotions. The Elcor and hanar being the sole inovative exceptions but also not a companion race. Be it human, Asari, Salarian, Turian, Krogan or Batarian, when a character is shocked, they have the same expression of eyebrows raised, mouth agape. If they are worried they have human expressions. If they are in love, same.

It's a singular graphics, not a new questline or whatever. Everything stays the same except one texture. They are already changing things by hand
