Is it possible to close out multiplayer slots to ensure you can solo a mission without others joining?

Don't forget to set your Friends list to "invisible," otherwise a friend might ninja join your solo. If I remember correctly that old dude from the original BSN (what was his name? the one who complained about female kits all the time) unfriended and blocked someone for interrupting his plat solo.
My single successful plat solo took me 102 minutes. If someone joined in minute 101 I'd probably have cried.
Don't ninja join, kids.
