Be brave. What change are you making to your usual playthrough?

I played the Triologie more then twenty times and tried many different decisions and options.

For the Legendary Edition i plan to do a playtrough with male Shep as Paragon romancing Ashley and maybe Tali later and
a second playtrough as Renegate Fem Shep Romancing Liara and maybe Samantha in ME3.
My Renegate Fem Shep will not recruit Garrus and will let Ashley shoot Wrex in ME1. A also thinking about to give Legion to Cerberus in ME2 but haven't decided it yet.

Not sure what more I can do with the numerous playthroughs I've done? Maybe complete a playthrough without firing my weapon and using powers? That would be hard to do in ME3 since there's a couple of times the player has to use a weapon. I like to do a playthrough without bringing any squadmates on a mission. That will never happen. I like doing that in DA.

In the original trilogy I have several distinct playthroughs. Other playthroughs are not so distinct (several mostly pure Paragon playthroughs with everyone surviving the suicide mission). I am 50/50 MaleShep and FemShep, and about 50/50 with Kaidan/Ashley surviving Virmire. I have several playthroughs where I had squadmates die on the suicide mission. I play a mix of classes with various builds and playstyles.

My first full playthrough in MELE will be Soldier, probably as a FemShep. Playing as a Soldier first to unlock the weapon achievements and bonus powers. Will use Tali and Liara for most of the game to unlock their achievements and bonuses. It will probably be a mix of some of my personal favorite Paragon and Renegade choices in ME1 (save Feros, kill the Rachni Queen). Kaiden will survive Virmire. Unsure if I will let the council live. Probably everyone will survive the suicide mission (since I think there is an achievement for it?). ME3 will probably end up the same, although I may kill Mordin and sabotage the cure; it depends.

Next two playthroughs will be Adept and Engineer for the biotic and tech achievements and bonus powers. Next playthroughs are for also unlocking the other squadmate achievements. Kaiden and Ashley for Engineer, Wrex and Garrus for Adept.

I will need to do full a full Renegade playthrough at least once in MELE. I do not think I ever had a renegade Adept so I guess I will do that in MELE. I will need to kill squadmates on the suicide mission on subsequent playthroughs as well.

I have plans as you can see.

I don't have an usual PT, outside playing vanguard the most of all the classes in ME2/ME3.

My PTs have been about trying things. Every romances. Every choices options. Both gender multiple times. Both Paragon and Renegade PT + mixes.

I even did a playthrough where I gathered every material on every planets, along all side content (DLC included). Then followed by "speed runs" (story only, well mostly story only...it's hard to no do side quests sometimes). In ME1/ME2. The only thing I failed at was a dead Shepard at the end of ME2 and it wasn't because I never tried. I just recruited too many squaddies for it to work.

ME3 is where I'm "behind" with trying everything, as I never played it with all the DLCs (only with the Citadel one). I did do a PT where I used the default state to see how it looked thought. I did different choices in my PTs, I just didn't check everything yet. I played ME3 a lot less than ME1/ME2.

I should actually find an " usual playthrought" with MELE, lol.

I know, because I am too. I try to do themikefest things, but at a certain point I can't live with myself anymore and Boy Scout it from there. I think I have finished KotOR over 100 times, and seen the DS endings maybe twice in-game. Probably only once

I have a hard time RPing someone other than myself.

I am going to do a renegade playthrough because that is what I had planned next anyway. I am conflicted however on whether it will be a renegon or full on renegade.

I'd be curious how many, if any, will attempt to do a playthrough like the one in my signature

Mostly all the same choices with 2 playthroughs.

1. Main canon Shep: Male, vanguard sole survivor, colonist, pro-human, romance Jack, paragade

2. other playthrough: female, soldier, war hero, spacer, egalitarian, romance Liara, renegon

Though for my main Shep, I am thinking about killing the council this time. He is pro-human, but I never kill the original council with him because I just like the original better than the council that replace them. It's funny, because my very first playthrough with my main Shep I did kill the council, thinking they would be replaced by all humans. But when I found out that's not the case, I went back to ME1 to change that choice. Though I will still kill wrex and not cure the genophage with him

I am going to try and avoid meta gaming since I have played through the trilogy so many times. For instance I don't see how letting the rachni queen live a second time isn't a huge risk for betrayal. She was captured and exposed to reaper tech for an indefinite amount of time, and could be indoctrinated. Same goes for Legion, who lies to Shepard twice, and only shows the geth in the best possible light and the worst of the quarians. What about all the atrocities that geth committed when killing likely billions of quarians while forcing them from Rannoch and their colonies. It would seem that reaper code maybe having more effect than Legion is letting on while trying to manipulate Shepard. And it doesn't help that in ME2 Legion is talking about the geth forging their own path and evolution without influence of "the old machines" only to do a 180 and see reaper code as a key to their evolution. Might be indoctrinated there Legion.

I am going to try and treat it as my first play through, even if it costs me some war assets. Second time through I will likely meta game for a high number of war assets.

Hmm, thinking about it Don't believe I romanced Traynor? so I think my first play through will be Fem. Shep. and the Traynor romance followed by Male Shep. and Kaidan and one of the two will be renegade, never did a renegade run.

I think I have done pretty much all the iterations that really interest me in the original trilogy already.

And since I haven't played the trilogy in years, my first Shep is going to be my go-to variation without much deviation. However, I fully anticipate to do a couple of playthroughs with MELE over the next couple of years (especially if the manage to transfer mods over time) and then I am sure to be more experimental again.

Looking forward to seeing if the new, woke, all-inclusive, and oh, yeah - diverse - Biower has changed my fave — namely out-renegading Jack.
