The Countdown is over!

Four more days till we become Spectres again.

I wonder if Bioware will address ModSupport again. Or if the topic doesn't even exist anymore.

Can't wait to push that Download button tomorrow...

Or just a reiteration of what came before, be it an 8-bit RPG, a Prison Architect reskin, another shooter, another battle royale, or the countless management games coming out on Steam.

Everything is on repeat because why bother putting the effort to come up with a new creative spark when you can put in minimum effort and earn maximum profit? That's just how commercialism works, unfortunately, and right now, the biggest "supply" in the "supply and demand" system is nostalgia. What works will inevitably work again with minor alterations.

I know it's weird calling out on nostalgia being a problem when I'm contributing to the problem by paying for this ME remaster, but I guess somewhere along the line, perhaps 5 years ago, I kinda gave up on the fight for encouraging creativity. There's nothing an average schmuck like me can do other than rant on Internet forums. I'm just a droplet in the huge ocean of consumers. These corporations, they're too powerful, so I might as well just enjoy what I can and take what I can get... till the inevitable death of creativity, if we're not there already. As Paul McCartney said, "Live and let die!"

omgggg I can't wait! I started another playthrough of the trilogy after years, Im on ME2 and on Origin it keeps just freezing after I downloaded some of the DLC off the EA website, and I can only load one autosave. And I was expecting to be able to finish before the LE dropped -__- But oh well I'll just do my fresh playthrough on that. I'm excited to see how ME1 looks

Today is the day. The day I get to pre-load MELE, but not until 11am EDT.

Origin asked me to "upgrade for free" the game. I have no idea what it meant, but I did it. It's free!

Yeah agreed tbh I'm more excited for Kena Bridge of Spirrits than I am for the trilogy's remaster tbh because for m eth eLE jis just the asme gam ewith just a fresh coat of paint nothing fo rm et oget t oexcited about really. Wha twe've seen of ME3 looks exactly the same as it did before graphics wise and whilst i tdoes look like ME2 has received some improvements they still look pretty minor. so tbh whilst I'm curious to see the work they've don eto ME1 it's moe rcuriosit ythan excitement because I know already I know th estorygiven I've played the games many times already. I will pick it up but not likely till there aer cheats ou tand maybe a drop in price bu tcertainly not at launch as I don't see the point when I already have the originals.

I won't lie though I have been feeling a bit of an itch t oplay the trilogy again but if I do it'll be on the originals for now.

Like I wrote, I have no idea. I just had a message before the pre-load date/time one that said "upgrade for free". It doesn't appear to have added anything. Could just be that they changed the in-store entry and that's how you update it.

Or it's EA Play pro related (I do see 2 entries in Origin right now, one is the purchased one and the other the EA Play pro version).
