It was quite easy for me, actually. A few months ago, I made a pt in ME3 where the Quarians were obliterated by the Geth. I felt so guilty that I was seriously nauseous with wanting to puke, butterflies, sweats and shaking hands. Yikes. Years and years and years ago, the first time I ever killed the Rachni Queen in ME1, I had the same reaction. I felt awful about it. However... with time it gets much easier. Hard to believe my first runs of Mass Effect 1 were so Paragon when later I was full on Renegade.

A few months ago, I made a pt in ME3 where the Quarians were obliterated by the Geth. I felt so guilty that I was seriously nauseous with wanting to puke, butterflies, sweats and shaking hands. Yikes. Years and years and years ago, the first time I ever killed the Rachni Queen in ME1, I had the same reaction. I felt awful about it. However... with time it gets much easier. Hard to believe my first runs of Mass Effect 1 were so Paragon when later I was full on Renegade. Amazing how real the "feels" are from this trilogy. Even ME3 with its flaws and all, it still reduces me to a bawling mess every time.
This run I am trying to go renegade, but it's a struggle. I wish I had rolled a male Shep, that always seems to go more hand in hand with renegade pt for me. Maybe it's Meer's renegade tone that works better for me, at times it can be almost comical. When Hale goes renegade, she sounds seriously nasty.

Aite for the Overlord missions with Garrus and Tali. Only managed the first part tonight. The scenery from the Hammerhead travel zones is stunning! I love that planet the Overlord DLC is located on. It's by far the most beautiful place in ME2. Although if we're being honest, most settings in ME2 are literal dumps, garbage yards or Omega, so not hard to beat. As ugly as a lot of the settings are, they do give a certain disorderly element to ME2 that I love. |
