MELE Photo Mode

The thing is, I really do believe my Shepard currently looks more detailed than in the shot I made before, the one with the low-res/low-poly face. If I zoom out in photomode even the glittering of the sun is still visible in her eyes.
But when I reverted my Gamersettings.ini to the default one, she still looked similar (as in with all the details intact).

So I have no idea what the issue is anymore. I'm done with modding her hair to Brooks's, and it looks nice now, no seethrough-bits and all, so I'm just going to finally actually start PLAYING ME3 tonight. It's the only thing I CAN do!

Those are all cutscenes though, right? The problem we're having is when you go into photo mode during combat, then rotate the camera so you can see Shepard's face, the textures look very flat, and the face seems lower quality in general.


Edit: The last one isn't a cutscene, maybe? Because I think I see an ammo power there. Odd that your Shepard isn't making Angry Sim Face

Maybe "angry sim"-mode is only in active combat? Your Abby is carrying a gun, but she doesn't seem to be in the "ready to fire"-position.

Dunno really, it's been a while since I last played ME3.

Yeah the thought occured to me to and it will definitley be something I will look into more especially next playthrough when I will be taking more pics of her and well probably the rest of this PT.    But I remember this one well, walking down in Omega around the part with the Mad Prophet and I remember thinking that it would make a pretty good photo opprotunity but I kept on having to fight with the controls to have her try and get her gun at least up and in a more 'cool' position.  
Aww thank you.   And no offense intended she gets complemented so rarely that I will take what I can get.

As far as it goes though i would expect Shepard to look at least a little angry in combat.  Certainly someone with Abigail's temprement and well the combat in the game certainly pisses me off enough times and that feeling tends to get transferred to my Shepard when it happens.    And it does make a little sense to that the model wouldn't be as detailed in non cutscenes as in cutscenes given that...well frankly I do not think they would expect people to be able to look at their Shepard's that much...but now that they are aware maybe we will get some improvement?  Of course the weird thing for me is that it just seems like this quality does vary from Shepard to Shepard to.

Don't really get angry here...hell it looks like she is more enjoying herself then anything.   The horror.  

I had the same flat texture problem in ME2 though.

Thanks Dazk.  I will always say this with some chagrin but I still think Abigail is probably the best looking character I have ever created in an RPG.  Her and my second version of Cassandra Ryder in Andromeda...well then also I was quite proud of Robert too.

It's really great when you dreate one you are absolutely happy with and that you feel invested in in terms of how you role-play them. I had a couple in MEA, male and female but I am struggling to remember any in MET but I am sure there must have at least been one female Shep.


 

Yeah I spent hours making changes to my current one in terms of changing the eye colour and skin tone but still not quite happy with the skin tone but got sick of trying to get it exactly how I wanted it.

She's a cutie! My Shepard always looked pained in combat (ME2) but now (ME3) she just looks possessed LOL. True that they probably didn't intend on players looking at their Shepard mid combat, but what did they expect when they gave us the power of Photo Mode .
