New Shepard for my NG+ ME1 PT, made by editing a Head Morph done by someone on NMM What the heck are these things meant to be? It's great having good gear from the start Man that things big The Consort gave Shepard an extra reward for helping her out Shepard became the First Human Spectre

Just don't know how I got so lucky as to not have any of these issues with my Shepard. Its a bit weird. Prove it!
I've yet to see a ME3 Shepard that looks identical between cut scenes and during combat.

Nevermind that. They don't really seem to do a lot. Except for MaxAnisotropy=16, since it defaults to 8. But that's more in the distance. For some reason I was under the impression those settings actually made a difference, but maybe I was seeing things: I hadn't seen your updated post and just tested them myself by taking roughly the same photos before and after changing the file. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference either. I thought maybe I'd changed something incorrectly because while I was able to change MaxAnisotropy to 16 (mine also defaulted to 8), I had to add in the other three to the file myself and maybe I did that wrong somehow. Thanks anyway for trying, though The thing is, I really do believe my Shepard currently looks more detailed than in the shot I made before, the one with the low-res/low-poly face. If I zoom out in photomode even the glittering of the sun is still visible in her eyes. But when I reverted my Gamersettings.ini to the default one, she still looked similar (as in with all the details intact). So I have no idea what the issue is anymore. I'm done with modding her hair to Brooks's, and it looks nice now, no seethrough-bits and all, so I'm just going to finally actually start PLAYING ME3 tonight. It's the only thing I CAN do!

vs. Looks fine to me. Those are all cutscenes though, right? The problem we're having is when you go into photo mode during combat, then rotate the camera so you can see Shepard's face, the textures look very flat, and the face seems lower quality in general. Edit: The last one isn't a cutscene, maybe? Because I think I see an ammo power there. Odd that your Shepard isn't making Angry Sim Face

Dunno really, it's been a while since I last played ME3.

I've yet to see a ME3 Shepard that looks identical between cut scenes and during combat. vs. Looks fine to me. She looks fabulous! Not to cause any offence but she looks even better than the picture from ME2. I can still see a lil' simmification going on with the flat skin texture, the arched eyebrows and the enlarged shape of the eyes. But she looks great! She's not making that angry face.
My Shepard gets this manical look like she's itching for a fight. That plus the cartoony look just makes me feel alienated from her in photo mode because she's not my Shepard. I don't understand how BW could degrade the graphics from 2 to 3 the way they have.

Yeah the thought occured to me to and it will definitley be something I will look into more especially next playthrough when I will be taking more pics of her and well probably the rest of this PT. But I remember this one well, walking down in Omega around the part with the Mad Prophet and I remember thinking that it would make a pretty good photo opprotunity but I kept on having to fight with the controls to have her try and get her gun at least up and in a more 'cool' position. She looks fabulous! Not to cause any offence but she looks even better than the picture from ME2. I can still see a lil' simmification going on with the flat skin texture, the arched eyebrows and the enlarged shape of the eyes. But she looks great! She's not making that angry face.

Aww thank you. And no offense intended she gets complemented so rarely that I will take what I can get. As far as it goes though i would expect Shepard to look at least a little angry in combat. Certainly someone with Abigail's temprement and well the combat in the game certainly pisses me off enough times and that feeling tends to get transferred to my Shepard when it happens. And it does make a little sense to that the model wouldn't be as detailed in non cutscenes as in cutscenes given that...well frankly I do not think they would expect people to be able to look at their Shepard's that much...but now that they are aware maybe we will get some improvement? Of course the weird thing for me is that it just seems like this quality does vary from Shepard to Shepard to. Though I did remember that I actually did have a photo mode picture of Abby in combat so: Don't really get angry here...hell it looks like she is more enjoying herself then anything. The horror.

Just a salarian chilling on a wall. No biggie.
Context: I was doing the Virmire mission and infiltrating Saren's base and this indoctrinated STG was standing between two cryogenic canisters while trying to attack me. I am not exactly sure what caused BOTH canisters to explode at the same time, but this was the result. He went FLYING quite a distance into that wall.

I had a couple in MEA, male and female but I am struggling to remember any in MET but I am sure there must have at least been one female Shep.

Mind you that has been the other great thing about the LE Can fix all the niggling problems you had with your Shepard's the first time. I changed her complexion between the trilogy and the LE, I think redarkened her hair back to the darker red shade, and then flattened her lips closer to her face because they were quite protruding, especially in profile.

I had the same flat texture problem in ME2 though. Ahh yes, sorry forgot about that I am starting to wonder if it's also possibly our graphics cards not behaving accordingly. I noticed that Nvidia has not provided optimum settings for MELE yet as they have for ME3 OT and DAI. Aww thank you. And no offense intended she gets complemented so rarely that I will take what I can get. As far as it goes though i would expect Shepard to look at least a little angry in combat. Of course the weird thing for me is that it just seems like this quality does vary from Shepard to Shepard to. She's a cutie! My Shepard always looked pained in combat (ME2) but now (ME3) she just looks possessed LOL. True that they probably didn't intend on players looking at their Shepard mid combat, but what did they expect when they gave us the power of Photo Mode .

I noticed that Nvidia has not provided optimum settings for MELE yet as they have for ME3 OT and DAI. I hadn't even thought about that I wonder if that has something to do with it. The gamersettings.ini file has these lines: [AppCompat] CompatLevelComposite=6 CompatLevelCPU=6 CompatLevelGPU=6 I don't know what the highest possible value is for those settings. However, I remember having to change something that looked similar to that to get Sims 3 to recognize a modern GPU. Maybe there is a compatibility issue? What values do you have? What is colfoley playing on, since he isn't having those problems?
