[Poll] If you had the opportunity to add one character to your squadmate roster in Mass Effect 3 - w

ME 2 was my favorite game of the series, and the best of the trilogy. That being said, this is a fair criticism of the game. Does that make it any less in my eyes? No, not really; but it shows that despite being a great game, it still has flaws. All games have flaws - no matter how great they are overall.

Was it too much of a good thing? Who can say?




Now that you mention it, this is actually not a bad idea. I also would like to throw out there changing how the "crew abduction" is triggered in 2. Legion feels so much like an afterthought really, and if you're looking to do everyone's loyalty mission and save all the crew, then Legion becomes pointless. So yes, another main quest mission to help break things up would be great - I'd say after getting the Reaper IFF, and change somehow when the "trigger" begins.

I'm having a hard time, as I'd want both Miranda and Jack to return, as both were in the works of returning as full squadmates for ME3, but were cut for time. But ultimately, I'd have to vote for Jack, because I am a greater simp for her.

Jack's one of my favorites and I'd like to see her back...

But given the situation, I voted for Thane. Also, Shepard trying to obtain a fetch quest to get more drell blood will never not be funny/sad. I would have liked to bring him along. At least for a bit.

How about putting Liara in Diana's room and allowing Miranda back into her office?

Someone not listed in the poll...I would love to have had Kal'Reegar join the squad for ME3.

There's a lot of issues with the squad list of ME3 that just adding one person wouldn't be enough imo but if I had to pick just one to add I would probably say Miranda. Her being on the run from TIM makes it perfect for her to decide to join Shepard's crew both to stay safe from Cerberus and to help fight against them with her extensive knowledge of the organization.
Now if we're talking free reign I would replace EDI with Legion, James with Grunt and add Miranda.

Legion as it would be fun to take him on a mission with Williams to see her reactions post meeting him on that Geth Dreadnaught and her very vocal rejection that Shepard goes into the Geth minds as it's risky. This would have created a similar dynamic that Tali had in ME2 as we know Legion went to Eden Prime after the Normandy was destroyed and got part of Shepard armor as well travelled the Traverse until arriving at the crash site, as mentioned, before the Alliance ever bothered to collect the tags of his missing crew. She read the reports on the Heretics vs True Geths but it was a massive lost opportunity to have them interact more.
The close second character I would have liked to have in some parts of ME3 was Miranda in the Coup as she can even tell Williams that her suspicions were close to reality and that she almost placed a bug in Shepard head only to be stopped by TIM as he didn't wanted anything to change his ideals or alter him in anyway, Williams does get touched and appalled by Miranda suffering at the hands of her father.
Thane would have been a neat interaction as well, an Assassin who spent days next to her was also part of Shepard crew and we could have played the section they split up on the Hospital and see Thane explain all that to Williams that Shepard asked him a few days ago to keep an eye out for her (and maybe I don't know, share the current Shepard comms frequency with her, anyways why didn't that happened?).

are you indoctrinated by the Reapers? Miranda is with Cerberus and Cerberus always follows their favorite cheerleader....I am so disappointed in you DMC.

I chose Miranda for her capabilities and I like her character but I would have chosen Jack simply because I like her character and development. Playing Insanity this PT Jack is pretty useless though and I feel I am carrying her when i do take her whereas Miranda I take pretty much the majority of the time as she's capable against all enemies.

She sure wasn't with Cerberus in ME3. Seems like there was something about them hunting her down.
