[Poll] If you had the opportunity to add one character to your squadmate roster in Mass Effect 3 - w

Too bossy for my tastes. She likes to be in control. Remember "I am Omega"? Seems like she wouldn't be a good team player. If you're looking purely for power than I'd say she's a good choice. 

Grunt or Zaeed. Those two almost exclusively go everywhere with me. If I don't have both of them, I usually have one of them.

I don't like her either.  There should have been another A/K scenario but with Aria and Nyreen.  Save one and the other dies.  In my case save Nyreen and leave Aria behind.

True, I had forgotten that Aria would have been just as powerful with or without Omega.  You make a good point.

He could have been part of your squad in the Geth Conscience approach mission: imagine him and either Ashley or Javik talk as they approach the Geth hub. Javik has the memories of what happened in his cycle while she has the experiences of what went down with her squad and now that she is finding out the ones taken out during the hunt for Saren were a minority.

Though Jenkins was meant to be the real First Human Spectre, Conrad was an obvious runner-up.

Miranda and Wrex are the only choices here.

Wrex is ty he only ME1 squadmate that isn't in your crew even if it makes sense. Miranda could have had a much larger and more important role in ME3 rather than just repeating her ME2 loyalty mission for the entire game.

If she is being hunted, the safest place for her would be the Normandy. I'm also assuming a romanced Shepard would be plenty willing to help her find her sister. She could have provided valuable knowledge of Cerberus. Maybe have meaningful dialogue with Alliance members. Instead she is all about her useless sister who nobody cares about.

As for the rest, they don't matter. Jack is a terrible person who deserves to die (I always let her die unceremoniously before getting to the base). Her character development into ME3 is asinine and makes no sense. Samara is boring and I hate her hypocrisy. The rest are too unremarkable (Zaeed, Grunt, Kasumi) or are fine as is.

Very much Miranda. Not only was she my favourite character in ME2 but her whole being limited to a repeat loyalty mission vibe in ME3 felt like a disservice. I very much view having someone who believed in a different version of Cerberus could have been versus the corrupted indocrinated ME3 would have been a really great thing. Some fabulous opportunities for intercrew interactions too.

Yep. She could be back in her office calling in favors to figure out why Cerberus is doing what they're doing.  At least she wouldn't have to worry about Cerberus chasing her.  The one mission she would fit well is Cronos. But again it falls back to the well she could be dead thing. The same could be said about the turian and quarian yet they ended up on the roster even if they were dead in ME2.
