Is there a solution to romance scenes not triggering after the suicide mission yet? Yes, the LE2 Community Patch which, as a PS4 player I will not be able to get but hey, according to the genius at Answers HQ that isn't game breaking and the PS platforms don't suffer from that issue (check my "New Patch" thread for more BS) and that I should just do a complete romance prior to the Suicide Mission like the game entails. Modders scoured the internet to see which items to fix, including EA own game support pages:

Ok, so Bethesda included a number of MODs in the Anniversary Edition into the main story (their engine basically is a giant modding scene) and Bioware couldn't work to incorporate most if not all the fixes modders have been making for the ME series as well the recent LE? Both series use different engines but, WTF:

Pinnacle Station mod v1.0.2 (as of 12 Nov) … even more localizations, to include the scoreboard, plus bug fixes and tweaks to the mod.

Pinnacle Station has gotten more people playing the DLC on PC than the amount when it originally came out thanks to Bioware deciding that the content wasn't worth 6 months of work to rebuild. Edit: it was because they didn't had the files first, then it would take 6 more months of work and I am hearing that it was because of money they would had to pay the ones who originally made the DLC.

Modders scoured the internet to see which items to fix, including EA own game support pages: ME2 and ME3 had serious save issues in my playthrough. I think you have to avoid having above 10 save slots per run, but you also gotta keep backups from a while ago because very randomly bits and pieces of your save data get truncated upon saving. It suddenly lost my checkpoint in the Kasumi DLC, booting me back to the main menu without a save for that level at all. I had to restart it. In ME3 I suddenly lost all my War Assets after Rannoch, it just said "0" and the list was empty. I've seen issues reported of people's Shepard going from male to female, losing all credits, etc. etc. Point is, on PS4 at least, random saving occasionally corrupts the data and you might not notice it, and it can include previous choices you made that get suddenly overwritten by a faulty saving process. They did something wrong there and it will never be fixed. But you're mostly okay as long as you keep backups I think. Also, please while we're at it: PC Users of LE2! Play my mod, GIDUM! Genesis Intro Dialogue Undo Mod. I added support for the "no choice" between Udina and Anderson for both the Shuttle scene and for the Genesis Comic in a recent patch. The dialogue at the start of the game between Miranda and TIM is restored to how it was before they released Genesis DLC, where they talk about the fate of the Council rather than repeating dialogue from later in the game (BioWare honestly did a hack job there) It's really good, because you get all Genesis Comic recap features already present, it just overwrites the opening scene before the Normandy Crash event so it now has 3 versions, Council Saved, Council Died or New Game that have much better dialogue than before, as well as the option to restore the part in the shuttle scene when Shepard and Miranda/Jacob address what happened with Anderson/Udina. www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/442This is one of the best mods ever made.

Been thinking about this for a while, for those on PC that are leery of modifying their MELE games …
Nexus mods has a great selection of mods specific to MELE … some are ported/updated from the MET, others are original mods for MELE. Note added: do not try to install an MET mod into MELE, instead, use mods ported to MELE or created specifically for MELE.
After you've created an account, you should download and install ME3Tweaks Mod Manager … it is an installation tool that will make installing the mods incredibly straightforward and easy. They've been working on the software for about a decade and it has become quite a user-friendly tool.
After you install it in your Documents/BioWare directory, you will have some Mod Manager subfolders for both the MET and MELE. For this, I'm going to focus on MELE. First, the Mod Manager will suggest backing up your vanilla game files … do that … in a separate folder from the Mod Manager folders.
Next, I would install the ME1 Community Patch … download it into the LE1 folder in your Mod Manager subfolder … I created a subfolder in LE1 for my LE1 downloads. My reason for this, is I add all my mods to the library in Mod Manager, then activate them. Mod Manager will create a DLC install subfolder in the LE1 folder. If the folder is the same name as the downloaded mod file folder, it will delete your mod download and the mod installation will fail.
It's not published yet, but there is a pending LE2 Community Patch, once it's published, install it in the LE2 folder. And finally, install the LE3 Framework and Community Patch in the LE3 folder. This will get all three games patched, fixing a large number of bugs in MELE.
After that, use the same process to install any other mods that strike your fancy. Personally, I stick with bug fixes and a few story mods. But if you are going to install graphic upgrades and textures, install those last. If you've installed textures and get another bug fix or story mod, you'll have to revert your game back to the vanilla settings (which is why you want to do the suggested backup of the vanilla games), install the bug fix and story mods, then install the graphics and texture mods. I stay away from the graphics and texture mods, so mostly it doesn't impact me … but those may be things you really want. Generally, if you install texture mods, then try to install bug fixes or story mods, you'll end up breaking the game.
The modders have done a huge amount of work. Everything from Pinnacle Station, to Starchild Be Gone and a whole lot in between. More is coming. Virtually every week. If you choose to do this, read Mgamerz' directions for ME3Tweaks Mod Manager carefully, that will keep you out of trouble and help make mod installation easy and successful.
Happy gaming.

According to files a modder found while doing the Ashley Date Fixed in LE3 there are dialog files of her in Grissom Academy. I at first suspected she was gonna be at the Normandy from the start but according to other modders Omega was supposed to form part of the main questline very early until it was dropped and sold as DLC later, then Aria would tell Shepard about the Grissom Academy heist which means that the mission was at first like Turian Lost Patrol and Krogan Missing Scouts. www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/782

There isn't the need of conflict but these Community Patches should have been part of what Bioware delivered to all of us and they are present in the console versions. There is also the Ashley Date Fixed which fixes bugged and cut content that is for her, the Expanded Galaxy Map restores a conversation between her and Liara after the Coup, Project Variety helped restore the conversation with her sister (among many other things), modders are doing what Bioware should have done with their salaries but they are doing it for free. PC gamers shouldn't be the only ones to receive these fixes when the game is mainly sold to consoles.

PC gamers shouldn't be the only ones to receive these fixes when the game is mainly sold to consoles. I don't know much about the current BioWare, but PC gamers fixing games is not something new. Bethesda is notorious for releasing buggy games and it is the modding community which has fixed thousands of those bugs with the Unofficial Patch. Although their situation was different but when the now defunct Troika Games released Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines it was a buggy mess, and it was the modding community that has made the game playable. Obsidian released Knights of the Old Republic II in an unfinished state, and it was the modders who restored most of the content and fixed most of the bugs. So yeah I agree with you what the modders are doing for free is what BioWare should have done. Companies have become to reliant on their fanbases to fix the games for them.

So yeah I agree with you what the modders are doing for free is what BioWare should have done. Companies have become to reliant on their fanbases to fix the games for them. Specially since they tend to release and advertise the games on more than just PC, the instances of Ashley Williams I listed (for example) have been known since the original release. Why is Bioware getting so much pass in the gaming media? Why must we wait for a catastrophic release (Andromeda) to start calling out Bioware? Those companies are cashing in the payment they get from players (console and PC) and they are letting PC modders fix their games for free, yet they call that awesome fan service while more likely than not getting ready to keep pulling that over again. Modding should be things like Thomas the Reaper not the actual content patches and yes, I even call out Bethesda on this as Fallout 76 proved: they got away with their state of gaming up until Fallout 4 (when people started calling them out) and with 76 the company realized the game usual modding was never gonna fly and that's when people "had enough."

I agree with everything you said. But since I never did any research on the Mass Effect games I did not know what was left out. So to me it didn't bother me when I finally gave the series a chance. I still enjoy the games but I got used to looking at modding sites to see if anything was restored. As for the so called journalists making excuses for BioWare. I never believe what today's media says. So if you say the media is lying I believe you more than the journalists. But this is not just something that began with BioWare. For years I've seen gaming sites like IGN, Kotaku, and Polygon sell out for the publishers/developers. It's just the state of gaming nowadays. As for Bethesda I never bought Fallout 76 because I do not play multiplayer games, but I know of the controversy, since I was a member of their community since 2003.
Like I said it is just the current trend in gaming and journalism. I understand why console gamers get mad when a company releases a buggy or unfinished game. I grew up on consoles, and became a PC gamer when Morrowind was released, because of the unofficial patch for it was only available on PC.

So true, I am glad that you enjoyed the MELE and I hope you give ME Andromeda a chance. The games are good and the universe is gorgeous, but the company employees (all levels) needs a lesson in being humble as well the community, because there are elements that are too rash one way or the other and none of those segments help in the slightest the gaming series but back to modding: Wouldn't it be possible to add A/K in the Spectre Office using both the range as well the terminals? Conversations could be random comments like they have onboard as well full conversations (it would have made sense that was in the game from the start but Bioware)? Edit: Anthem should have been a signal to Bioware that not all games should be left to fix for the community, there are a few MODs for the game but, as they must have realized the usual behavior of half making a game and letting the community work on it for free wasn't gonna happen this time they saw they had to invest money and working hours fixing their game.

Thanks, I have been playing Andromeda and have been enjoying it so far. I agree I enjoy the lore of the Mass Effect universe, and I also agree that some elements of the fandom are toxic, and because of them companies like BioWare put the real fans in with the toxic fans. But this has been going on for years and it's not just gaming. I mean look at the state of Star Wars, long time fans are called toxic by almost everyone working at Lucas Films. As for Anthem never played it either. I pretty much stopped playing BioWare's games after DAI. But when I saw MELE on Steam. I bought it because I knew the Mass Effect games are highly regarded, and it was 3 full games with 40 dlc for 60 bucks. So this last couple of months has been my return to both BioWare and this forum.

Happy to talk, nice to let off some much needed steam, I fear for the hard reset on gaming but part of me feels it is necessary. Stay enjoying the series, and always strive for better. Edit: unfourtaunly both the super fanatics can be either too negative or just accept anything served, companies tend to just focus on the latter while lumping everyone else with the uber negatives. Edit 2: I was scratching the uber negative post ME3 and spent months mocking Andromeda after launch even if I didn't bought it, then I got to the chance to buy it a few years post launch and I enjoyed it.

No problem. If you ever want to talk send me a message. There were two things that made me stop playing BioWare's games and it was the way they handled Andromeda and Anthem after release. Even though I had never played a Mass Effect game at the time. I was member here and although I usually stayed in the Dragon Age section. When BioWare stopped supporting Andromeda it was big news. But like I did with Dragon Age 2, when ME:A was on sale on Steam I bought it and have enjoyed it so far. But I was never as laid back as I am now. When I was younger and Oblivion was released. I bought it, played it, hated it, and was super negative about it for years. I joined the toxic mob that was anti-Bethesda at the time. But luckily eventually I grew up and spoke to some clever forum members and they made me realize life is too short too hate. That's why I'm not into social media. It is super negative and toxic.

Let's face it. We all know that the "big one" would be if somebody manages to bring ME3's Multiplayer into MELE.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

Modders have told me the issue is they need to build servers themselves but the maps are there already (the N7 missions), just a tremendous work to make Bioware look like bigger fools than they already are, they didn't bother with Pinnacle Station because they lost the code, they never wanted to do it (the excuse they use that it wasn't well received doesn't fly with far less popular DLC like the weapons and armor DLC). Didn't they think it would be an issue since they never included the DLC way back in the original PS3 Trilogy package?

I found my new favorite mod for MELE on nexusmods last night, Starchild Be Gone! Now if the Miranda Mod ever gets ported over I can finally uninstall the original ME3.
Time to finally finish a MELE run with my second favorite love interest. I just need to mute it and skip through the passed out drunk scene as quickly as possible. I would love to see a mod to somehow replace that scene.

See, I do not have an issue with Ashley being drunk (she is no where near Shepard levels of alcohol resistance) but that there weren't more scenes of regular conversations featuring her.

It is big break in character for her. She takes being a soldier very seriously at least in ME1, getting drunk even in off-duty hours on a front line warship is something ME1 Ash would have never done. I wouldn't have a problem with the scene if it took place somewhere on the citadel. I like that they give Shepard the option to turn Chakwas down in ME2&3 when she offers a drink on the Normandy, that isn't something an officer would be doing unless on shore leave.

Agree, but even in ME1 she mentions she snuck a drink aboard the ship and was saving it for the celebration of Armistice Day, in ME3 she states that the bottle had something to help her get somethings out of her head. That raised warning flags that she was dealing with issues beyond loving drink. It appears her condition from ME1 progressed. Edit at the 7:29 mark when she starts talking about the drink:
