They released a teaser for the next ME back in December and it's likely that a majority of the team is working on that. I was looking at other comments and as such missed yours entirely so sorry about that, but even if Bioware is working on the next DA first, then next ME game I would love to have a communication from them regarding the issues in the Legendary Edition that players have been submitting in some cases since the original releases.

The problem I see is a broken corporate structure, where matketing has a disconnect from development and is focused only on selling. Marketing needs to be overhauled in general - marketing should be responding to these issues, communicating with development on what they are seeing in telemetry from their advertisements and social media activity.
They have removed our ability to communicate at the source (corporate forum) and made customer support a path of obfuscation. This results in me resenting, and then ignoring, their marketing entirely. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing, so the entire body looks dumb.
This goes straight to the top, and is a problem far beyond the industry.

As in very interesting, I want to know what those two companies worked on the MELE now or if they are still working on some aspect. We know Bioware is more focused on promoting things from their Gear Store. Abstraction worked on new console adaptation/conversion and I think BSG assisted with textures and models (my guess from looking through their website). Any follow-up support would be in direct conjunction with BW itself and not the customer base. It would all depend on what's in the contracts. Side Note: The Gear Store would be handled by marketing, not developers.

As SofaJockey said on Answers HQ, Bioware has not announced that any patch is their last, so we can only hope that means they are still working. We are all just fans here, too. We don't have any special information. Welcome though  Until a patch is released to fix Admiral Xen's war assets, the remaster is incomplete. Admiral Xen gives 25 warassets, yet it's not available in the remaster
