DA Day and Game Awards 2021

Well, I've learned to keep them low

I think that the time has finally come to reveal the name and announce DA 4 for real.

A week or so ago, I would've disagreed with this.  But with the news regarding DA in the last week...they could do with a PR win.

I expect nothing, or at least nothing good.

I expect BioWare to celebrate with us as they did last year. It couldn't hurt to release more concept art, could it? My expectations are low for the Game Awards due to the recent news.

I think we'll get tossed a scrap or two but nothing that will actually tell us much - as per.

I hope for nothing and expect slightly more.

I really wish BioWare would just do what Bethesda did for Fallout 4 where they only really announced the game six months prior to release. It only causes them problems with people over analyzing what they are sharing for that is the content that is ready for people to see. Not to mention the "you promise" attitude with anything shown in videos prior to release.

So I would expect concept content and maybe a video that shows next to nothing and still people will take it as gospel.

Scary to think that concept art last year was for the multiplayer abomination they were going to release upon us.

I am referring more to what happened with Dragon Age: Inquisition and the final edits during optimization/certification where content was cut so it would work on the older consoles.  So on release there was a vocal group of people screaming that they promised that content because they demonstrated it.  The over analyzing is like what we are seeing with the next Mass Effect game where people are dead set on the major plot points of where the game starts.  With some people already making the claims if that isn't what the game is they misled us.  I just think if they stop all conversation about the next game until six months from launch they will lose the conversation now, but I bet the majority of it will reappear the moment they announce it.  I think it was a mistake to say anything even now and the restart of the game for whatever reason is proof of that because now they said something too early and you see the state.  I don't think the majority of players are represented by these boards so I would think because its so long now its already been forgotten by a lot of people.

The big reason why I want them to just stop talking or saying anything is I think they painted themselves into a release with Andromeda and Anthem.  So not talking about the game at all can be a way to fix the games because they won't have that window the must release the game by.
