I must admit I always thought that sounded odd if they were switching from single-player focused to multi-player focused, because having a series of heists seemed far more in keeping with multi-player. Also, I struggled to fathom how engaging in a series of heists was relevant to neutralising the threat from Solas, unless it was to gain items he wanted or items to use against him.

So to some extent you could be right and the second reboot was simply reverting the game to what it was originally intended to be and maybe some of the previous work done before the first reboot could be salvage and used once more.

When I talk about management it could be those at the top at Bioware making decisions, or in conjunction with those at EA. From what I could tell of the recent departure, the management involved were both at Bioware and EA and were jointly expressing their confidence in the team working on the game.
