Are there more Pilots around here? I play it on PC, my Origin ID is SpaceV3gan. Anyone who plays the game on Origin please feel free to add me. Also anyone who has doubts regarding the game can ask them to me, I will try to answer them - at least as far as the PC version of the game is concerned. I haven't played the game that much yet (it was released two days ago, lol), and I haven't touched the campaign yet, but as far as the Multiplayer goes all I can say is that it is a flawless game. One of the most addictive and fun I have played, not to mention it has some of the most fluid, smoothest controls and player movement in gaming ever. I am by not means a good player, I am hardly average. But in case I happen to record some 'above average' gameplay I might post them here. It would be nice if other Pilots could do the same! Stand by for Titanfall!

When you touch the story mode make a review of it please. Multiplayer is secondary to me. I am so hooked on the Multiplayer that I can't see myself playing the Campaign too soon (also my gaming hours are quite limited), but before buying the game I had done some research and I noticed that the Campaign has been pretty well received by virtually all reviewers, although it is a short mode and not that deep plot-wise. It is worth mentioning that Respawn Entertainment is comprised of former Infinity Ward employees who were responsible for the Call of Duty's Modern Warfare games, which were particularly famous for their Campaign modes. Thus Titanfall 2 Campaign is surely made by some of the best guys in this business. Also, reviewers have pointed out that this mode is not just hectic action, but it is also full of platforming. Some have surprisingly drawn comparisons to Portal 2. Nevertheless, we are talking about a gaming mode that is 6-ish hours long and that has little replay value. I don't believe it is worth buying a full priced AAA title for such limited content. Well, you know, games like these are highly-priced due to their Multiplayer modes which can keep people playing for many months.

I'm having so much fun with Titanfall 2. It may be because I'm a sucker for giant robots, but it is a really good game in my opinion.
The campaign is definitely a wonderful addition. I love BT.

I'm not into MP for this one but I heard the single player campaign is good. Likely to buy (when price drops) if true.

This video sumarizes a lot about this game, including the Campaign (starting at around 4:00). It seems like many people are interested about the Campaign, as are the reviewers.

Campaign's good and has some fun levels. MP is also really fun and kicking people in the face after grappling them will always be enjoyable. Also the return of the BSN DreamTeam.

I said I would post some gameplay videos, here we go.
Firstly I would like to talk a little about this new Multiplayer mode, Bounty Hunt, which seems to be the new 'flagship' mode despite the addition of older modes like Attrition, Capture the Flag and others.
The concept of Bounty Hunt is quite interesting: there are two teams of 5 players plus AI controlled mobs and AI controlled Titans. You kill the AI, you get money. You kill other players, you get half of their money. You are killed, you lose half. At the end of each wave you must deposit this money at banks that are opened temporarily.
What I like the most about this mode is that you don't have to (and shouldn't) go guns blazing all the time - like you normally would in other gaming modes where killing is all what matters. You need to primarily focus on the objetive and that doesn't involve that many skills other than knowing the map and not dying when you are loaded with cash. Killing a player with tons of cash is obviously very rewarding, while going after a cash-less player is not just a waste of time but also an unnecessary risk.
Here is a video of a match I had today. I am not a skilled player (at times I played like a real noob in this video) yet I managed to score quite well and help my team win despite the fact that at one point we were being outscored pretty bad. Also, I just love this Titan called Legion.

I'll add that the campaign is fun in an action-movie way, but it is very short; if you have no interest in multiplayer, I would suggest holding off. On that note, I currently suck at the MP but find it very fun and fast moving (and no one on mic that I heard).

I played the campaign and beat it on the hardest setting, the reason I say this is because I want to point out that it lasted about 6-7 hours for me. If I played on lower difficulty it would probably be only 5 hours long.
If you are planning on buying it only for single player I would advise you not to. At least not for $60. But that's not to say that the single player is bad, it is actually really good and I will probably play it again sometime because I really had fun with it.
Ive probably spent 15 hours in the multiplayer and I like it. There are two problems with the game. First is the maps. Are they bad? Not really they just aren't nearly as good as the maps in the first game, there isn't one map on Titanfall 2 that I would pick over Titanfall 1 maps. They don't seem to me to be about parkour and taking advantage of the games mechanics as much as the maps of the original did. The second problem is the player base. There were 700 players in my region early Monday morning. And that is the most popular game mode. I haven't even played a match of Last Titan Standing yet because I cant find one.
Attrition to me is the best mode and I will happily play it. But I did love LTS and would like to play it. Also I don't understand why they have amped hardpoint. The original was fine. This mode just promotes camping, just like bounty hunt. It doesn't fit well with what the game is good at. Movement.
Oh and I am on xbone if you wanna play GT nat in the hat my network is called drunks r us

Yeah, I have to agree that Titanfall 2 unfortunately isn't that popular. I find it a better game than the first one in every aspect (maps being arguable), and the first game sold 10 million copies. Titanfall 2 has got everything to be a huge success but being released one week after BF1 and one week before CoD:IW is just not helping it. It is not able to get as much hype as these other massive franchises. The reviews are in Titanfall's favor, as pretty much all of them say that this is at least as good a MP competitive shooter as BF1, if not better. CoD:IW on the other hand is doomed, there is only negativity about that game. Still, I think EA is trying to overshadow CoD:IW too hard by releasing Titanfall 2 a week before it.
Just to give a perspective about the size of community, I play from Brazil but I can't find Bounty Hunt games on the Sao Paulo server at all. There are 0 players in my region according to the in-game matchmaking. I play on New York server 90% of the time, with 160 ms ping and the playerbase is like 700. When I can't find games on the New York server, I try Dallas or Salt Lake City, where there is over 200 ms ping. It is not ideal, but it is what it is. I just hope the reviews help turn the tide.
Also, a key factor that made me buy this game: free DLCs. I mean seriously, people are paying the cost of a second game to buy season passes for BF and CoD games.

Well, to be fair they are saying that all DLC that involves new maps and game modes will be free since they don't want to split up the community between those who have them and those who don't. That said since they do need money since that work needs to be paid for they may release DLC that costs too, though if they do it will almost certainly be cosmetic in nature like say new skins for Pilots and Titans, or maybe things like new weapons or boosts.

Well, to be honest I didn't buy Titanfall 2 because the first game rode on a big hype wave, was generally liked by players but still circled the drain after a month and developed a good rigor mortis after another. So I'll wait and see how this one goes. I am aware that I'm not helping the player count any with that, but I can't spend money and time so freely as to shell out 60 bucks and see if I still have a game next month.

At least all the playerbase will have access to the core content of these add-ons. Now while skins and such are nice additions (and there are countless of them in the game as it stands), they don't really make much difference in this game than, for instance, they do in games like Overwatch or Borderlands. I think if Respawn really wants to make money they have to work further on the Campaign. The Campaign is getting lots of attention from new players and reviewers, I'd bet there is more potential for monetizing there than there is via cosmetic stuff for the Multiplayer.

Guess I'll wait for discount here. Which will be soon enough because the game is failing hard in sales right now due to bad release placement, BF1 train just smashed it without noticing. I do feel bad about Respawn's future a little, but I gotta be cynical about my own wallet.

I do feel bad about Respawn's future a little, but I gotta be cynical about my own wallet. I think it ultimately comes down to whether this game is your thing and you find it worth the investment. Your opinion on the first game can pretty much define that. I personally loved the first game, played it for solid 70 hours (not that much, but way more than most people) and got to Generation 4. Some people I used to play with never passed Generation 1. I stopped playing it simply because there was no meaningful content. There were extra maps with the DLCs, but that game did not lack maps to being with and the DLCs were initially paid. Titanfall 1 got screwed up big time, it had no chance to live up to its hype. Still, I enjoyed it, and I would have played much longer if it had been anything like Titanfall 2 is - which managed to get all shortcomings from the first game fixed. Now if Titanfall 1 was in your opinion merely an OK game, hardly worth more than 20 hours, chances are Titanfall 2 won't be that appealing either, and you would better wait for a discount indeed.

I thought after taking ages to become semi decent at Titanfall 1, I would maybe start up okay at Titanfall 2. Guess I was wrong. Damn I suck at this game... But it's still fun to play with big backpacked friends. Abramsrunner kills 38 pilots in a single PvP game so it's okay if I barely get 8 kills xD

Then I read some more, watched Angry Joe's rant how Activision screwed up big time and everyone and their mother (except for a few morons CoD enthusiasts thinking that spending $80 on MW remaster is a good idea) agreed that Titanfall 2 is much, MUCH better than IW. They were right.

They were right. I hope more people do the same. Titanfall 2 is clearly a superior game in every aspect. CoD is just recycling itself over and over, every year. I know some people like the franchisee, but many devoted players have woken up this year and they aren't buying CoD:IW, since doing that would be supporting Activision's dirty business practice.
