My First Platinum Solo!

Well, I did use a Kroguard, who is more stun-resistant.  I just hate Phantoms, and to a lesser extent Banshees.  So I'd rather just have them on designated waves.

And though many say "Collectors are easy ... once you figure them out", alas I never have.

I did do a recent Ghost Gold solo vs. Geth on  London.  And yeah, [shudder] to think about taking him to Plat solo vs. Geth.

I'm going to go against the grain and suggest Cerberus.

Now, big part of this has to do with me seeing a lot of Cerberus solos from other players here. Turian lady, Muah doctor and a lot of others. Cerberus just seems to be popular for soloing. Now, if you rail against mainstream, consider the following: you get a lot of information from watching others solo Cerberus. Mainly on wave compositions and that goes a long way. You also notice there are a lot of units that are weak to staggers sticks, aka, Venom. Phantoms and goons are easy prey for Venom and they contribute immensely towards wave budget.

One big pro for Cerberus, in my books at least, is the lack of geth units. I know the good DoctorDAM did his(her?) solo against geth, but honestly, I despise mechanical bastards with all my heart. I would sooner do Trollector solo.

As for the kit... pick something that has good staying power and good damage output. I did my solo with Valkyrie. You know which kit suits you. Any of the fat turians, vanilla human soldiers, GI and a lot of others can be a good choice. Choose something you're familiar with and can see yourself trying over and over with. I could never do it with krogan vanguard, but I think I had less than 100 waves with him altogether.

So yeah, Venom, your favourite kit on a map you know well. Classics like White and Giant would be preferred for me, but if you think you can do it on London, more power to you.

Now go out there and get them! We believe in you

Giant - Reapers - TGI/Harrier; easiest strategy is to circuit between the two corners of the map never letting yourself to be overwhelmed, concentrate on the yellow as it's the easiest way to decrease the wave budget, for Banshees cloak-overload-shoot stops them 99% of the time ...

Some might say White - Cerberus is the easiest, but personally I find Cerberus obnoxious as hell also I find devices easier to solo on Giant.

One thing I have to do is practice using a few abilities I never use (because i am too damn lazy). 

One is stim packs, i never use them, another one i see people using on solos is the sex bots auto res ability.  I never use it.
