Fun Fact: HM Bark Endeavour (Cook's ship) was designated "Bark", though she wasn't a Bark.
Fun Fact: HMB Endeavour was not designated a "Ship", though she was a Ship.
Explanation: At the time Endeavour was built, "Bark" (or "Barque") was considered as an oceangoing utility vessel. These vessels increasingly became Bark-rigged. = A square sail rig with 3 or 4 masts, where the last mast, the mizzen, only has fore-and-aft sails, no square sails. The logic is that you have the mizzen mast to balance the rudder, for the desired heading in the wind as usual, but you can take your time during sail operations and don't need as big crew.
At some time "Bark" became the designation for ships featuring a Bark-rig.
Symmetrically, "Ship" had been used to designate oceangoing vessels ever since the Vikings and Old-Norse. But during a long transition period, other designations came into use for various types of vessels: Carrack, Galley, Galleass, Galleon, Caravel, and, yes, Barque. But "Ship" returned into use via Dutch language, but at this time, Age-of-sails and Napoleon wars, it came to designate specifically "Ship-rigged", = 3-masted vessels with square sails on all masts, i.e. a "full-rigged" vessel with three masts. This particular configuration was superior for maneuverability (essential in combat), allowing for rapid stops and go, reversing, small turning circle, even turning around on the spot, but required a big well-trained crew. For that reason it was mostly used for warships and early Tea-clippers & Passenger-clippers. Most other vessels employing Schooner-, Bark-, Brig-rigs, for reduced manning requirements.
After the age-of-sail, "Ship" returned to designate oceangoing vessels in general.
P.S. And to be completely clear: HMB Endeavour had a Ship-rig, and was thus a "Ship", by later understanding.

Fun Fact: Everybody who has tried to dive from greater height than Dana Kunze, has failed to be able to leave the pool on their own. Which happens to be one of the rules.
Fun Fact: Guinness' World Records have it wrong. Lazard Schaller didn't do any 'dive'. He just jumped off a cliff completely wrapped up in protective equipment. And he had to be fished out of the pool by rescue swimmers, due to his injuries. There are other people who have survived even higher falls, so what's the record and what's the point?

Very Fun Fact: The mirror images of Vampires are fully visible in modern mirrors, just like for normal people. This is due to that they are made with a reflective coating of aluminum, instead of silver, as it once was.
Very Fun Fact: Vampires can move freely around in daylight today, thanks to sunscreen lotions containing titanium dioxide. 🦇🧛♂️

Fun fact: Sand Tiger sharks can soar motionless, with neutral buoyance in the water, by swallowing the right amount of air.
Fun Fact: Lemon Sharks can soar motionless, with neutral buoyance in the water, by regulating their amount of fat oil in their liver.
Fun Fact: Bone fishes, in contrast to sharks, typically have neutral buoyance thanks to their swim bladder. It's not known if land living vertebrae's lungs evolved from the swim bladder, or if the swim bladder evolved from a primitive fish lung.

Fun Fact: The coldest place in the known Universe is here on Earth, in a lab, and is -273.149 deg C. And if there is a colder place in the Universe, it will be inside some Alien laboratory.
Fun Fact: In order to avoid having it heated by cosmic radiation, the lab is 1.4 km underground. 🤔
Fun Fact: In order to avoid having it heated by natural radiation from the surrounding rock, it's protected by a 6 cm thick shield of lead. 😮
Fun Fact: In order to avoid having it heated by natural radiation from the lead, +2000 year old lead, utterly depleted from radioactive isotopes, was used. 😶
Fun Fact: That lead was obtained by melting down ancient archeological artifacts. 😧
Fun Fact: This experiment tries to learn how something could be created from nothing in the Big Bang.

If you were to walk around the world, your head would have traveled a slightly longer distance than your feet. It would be 2*π*height of that person. If Earth was a perfect sphere.

Fun Fact:This graphic contains the 200 most successful offensive player seasons in the history of WNBA. The vertical axis is average points generated per game. Generated means it is the sum of personal scoring and the scoring of points created by assists, passing. I don't fully understand the horizontal axis, but I assume it concerns the offensive power of the team played for. The single yellow star, high above, completely separated from the rest, is Caitlin Clark. In her rookie season.
