Baldur's Gate III - Non Spoiler Edition

I'm not Hrungr, but I don't see the spoilers in race/classes/subclasses/abilities/spells.

There are a few permanent buffs/features/items you can get that some builds might be using that would be considered spoilers (well how to get them anyhow). But bg3.wiki/wiki/Main_Page should eventually have the entries with the info on how to get them so there is no need to explain it in here (it already has all the early access stuff).

Talking about how race/classes/origins interact with some NPCs/stories could be spoilers thought, but that's not really about builds even if it might help you out or not depending.

Would it be this thread or the other for sharing character pics?

Cool - will update the OP with that then, as well.  Builds etc can go in this thread, as long as the images/text don't spoil anything about specific encounters.

I will add a possible little tip, especially for those that played EA. If (like me) you HAD Cloud Saves activated when you first started playing early access, then turned them off, you may have some leftover saves still on the cloud. I had originally tried to remove a bunch of saves (with the cloud on, to remove them from said cloud), and it crashed my game - the one and only time it crashed on me. This was back in 2021, so unsure what happened. When I went to remove saves in-game prior to uninstalling two days ago, I didn't see any of those old saves (and cloud saves have been toggled off since that attempted purge in 2021). However, when I went to the save folders on my computer, those were still filed there. Purged that, and plan to keep Steam Cloud Saves turned off. Just in case.

Sheesh. Not sure that made sense in the written form.

While I can't play the game, due to me being console-only, I hope you all have as good a time as you can with the game.

Tavaxia, a Wood Elf Lady Bard. Still undecide for Lore vs Sword, but that can wait.

I've been super lucky with dice rolls so far in the intro. I hope this last.

Yes, at least until someone does the math to prove enemies don't have it too in combat anymore. Larian changed how it worked for release, but it's not clear how.

I always played without it, I don't mind rolling with the dices and I never had problems with failed rolls.
