The Expanse

I should have learned my lesson by now, having been through that with A Song of Ice and Fire. 

I sort of expect Miller to die at some point, but if so, I hope it isn't for awhile yet. He's the most entertaining character so far.

I didn't know Tomas Jane was in it, had I known I'd start watching it much sooner, I like most stuff he's in. Usually when I see his name in something, then I automatically know it's gonna turn out something great.

You definitely should ese. I'm completely hooked!!

I guess I don't see what most see in this. It's decent at best imo, and worth a watch though. Oh, and Bobbie is annoying as fuck.

I wonder if they will show what happens with Bobbi once she gets to earth for the first time. That whole part in the book was amazing. Since she came from a domed environment....

Well, they showed her firing a torpedo in season 1, when they nuked the Anubis, and they used a second torpedo casing to stash their sample of the proto-molecule. My guess is that they didn't want to risk collateral damage to the station/decided they'd have a better chance of winning in CQB, and so planned the fight - sneaking in behind the Guy Molinari, drifting towards the station as debris - so they'd be in PDC range almost immediately. 

Wonder how/if they're ever gonna be able to replenish their munitions? They've gotta be almost out of PDC ammunition at this point, and they're down two torpedoes. (Deliberately not reading the books until the series is over and done with, so no book spoilers please!)

But why

I loved the first season of this show. It's really refreshing to see a well-grounded down to earth sci-fi show. From what I've heard the story gets kind of crazy in the latter books, so I hope the show stays popular enough to get renewed.

Season 2 is the second half of Book One.

I finished watching season 1 In December 2016 , I really liked the cast and plot - I was even more interested in the show when I found out Tom Jane was starring. I believe season 2 will or already has premièred this month I am unsure when it will hit Netflix ? Anyone know ?

I wonder if Kenzo will make a return after being gobbled up by whatever that blob was at the end of season 2.
