Random things:

- Well, I really see why Dorian reacted to the south the way he did. Going to a freezing place that smells like wet dog most of the time is a pretty massive come-down compared to the glittering magitech he's used to.

- I wonder if Neve is always the other person in the party here, or if who you bring with you is faction dependent?

- So it seems likely that Harding gets those magic powers that have been mentioned during the ritual, which makes me wonder if it only happens if you bring her to the statue with you.

- On a shallow note, silver fox Varric is so hot. Still think his hair is too dark but I'll live with that.

- Maker, Rook looks amazing. Really looking forward to seeing that character creator. Hope they tell us about voice actors soon, too.

- BIANCA, NO! If I didn't already want to punch Solas that would definitely tip me over.

Okay, I didn't hate it. I am digging the combat but I am not liking how the demons look. WTF?

Aye, he is Welsh, but I definately never heard that in his speech as Solas. 

Tbh I feel mage gameplay is gonna be amazing in this game. I need to see it for myself, especially if there's a knight-enchanter/battlemage/vanguard type I can play.

It has this seedy DA2 feel and I love it I wonder if our Rook's personality adapts to dialogue choices, which would be doubly amazing.

Thanks but this wouldn´t change the impression that Veilguard from gameplay is more like Mass Effect than previous Dragon Age. Aka we can´t move to Harding or Neve and play as one of them to attack Enemy B and then Enemy C.

Am I crazy or did Solas not give any antagonist vibes? I feel like he might actually be on our side against the Evanuris? Explains the "Veil-jumpers" siding with us given that they're probably Solas' elves.

Classic story of unintended consequences.  Double the fun now.

Am wondering the same. Ol’ boy has gone and wandered off and made a mess of things (in partial thanks to Rook and friends) again, and wondering if we all have to kinda work together on and off again to put the Evanuris back in the box or obliterate them entirely somehow.

Then along comes Inquisitor and their past choices, and perhaps that plus your Rook decide Solas’s fate: spare him or put him down like the other Elven gods.

We’ve seen a similar concept before. Anyone remember DA:O, Loghain, and The Landsmeet?
