Neve Gallus - Official Companion Thread [Spoilers]

Somebody from the dev side said it meant she was an agent of the Veilguard, so it could be a loyalty mission/fully recruited thing.

So the answer is "it means something significant that we don't know about yet because they want to save it for us to find out in the game".

me too. I am really spoiled for romance choice in this game at least with my first Rook. Mind you with Bellaras blurb I think Neve is back in the lead slightly.

I am currently, reluctantly,working under the theory that it is something the choice on who you leave behind shown in the gameplay demo. You leave Neve behind she is killed or gravely injured if you leave harding she gets beaten up.

I don't think the special mark in the recent gameplay video has something to do with the prologue choice.
We saw together Neve, Bellara and Harding in several screenshots, so it's obvious neither Neve or Harding is going to die there. What the choice *could* affect is the one that ends up being injured, as we saw for Harding in several images, but even that isn't exactly clear.

We got a lot of Mass Effect developers present, got to figure a virmire survivor scenario is possible. Both those characters were prominent and romanceble. I don't want this just making a theory over available information.

Oh, sh*te. Not Virmire, again, Not without knowing who's the Ashley to leave behind.

This concept art with the blonde Neve, seems to indicate that Neve indeed might have a pipe in her hand, might smoke and might be a good smoker...  

I'm personally not among those who want that to happen lol.

I am a fervent non smoker. Will never understand the appeal. It destroys teeths and their natural color, the youthful complexion and the light of your face making you look older than you are, destroys your health, reduces your stamina with sportives activities. I see little value with this trend for a few minutes of enjoyment. To each his own I suppose.

I hope they won't show that side of her smoking. - If it's really real and a real habit, of course. Maybe that's not the case - Never was interested romance wise by fictional characters that smoke (don't want to roleplay a character that smokes either) especially pipes that stink the most. Having for example a cinematic where Neve truly smokes with her pipe in front of my character while they are peacefully talking might be a real turn off, romance wise, even if cool for the noir detective show.  

It smells bad, and it gives bad breath, and a bad taste on the tongue of the person smoking. Especially a pipe. Kissed three strong smokers I've met and yet it had the same effect everytime, it destroyed any attraction I could have for them in seconds, even if they were pretty. 

It also smells on clothes, heck even the body of the person after a shower can still surprisingly have this taste and smell in a heady way like cold tobacco during sex and it's beyond horrible and disturbing. Much prefer non smokers for dates since then, bad surprises much less likely to happen. 

Still hoping that the little thing in her hand we see in the game is just for fashion. I don't think her personal story in Tevinter night ever mentioned she was smoking, not even in the comic. 

Otherwise, there are other ladies as well.
