Neve Gallus - Official Companion Thread [Spoilers]

I’m going to headcanon that elfroot is like lavender, smells and tastes like lavender and that Thedosians have better tastes than humans in our world and smoke good shit.

Anyway, here the room of Neve. Well, it’s not yet confirmed, but there is no doubt it’s hers, with the investigator's board at the back of the room lol.


I really like it, it must feels good to work inside. Want to try the chair, must be comfortable.
But... where does Neve sleep? (yeah I know, with Rook , but not yet, don’t be too in hurry !) Too bad, It would have been funny to see what her bed looks like. 

Looks like Neve is ALSO a healer which is a nice touch!

Love also that each mage companion has their own thematic version of that healing spell!

Love that Neve seems to have documents, books etc type things for her equippable trinkets (previewed briefly in the companion progression video). I think that's a super fun touch, especially considering what her Lighthouse room is like. Might be most excited for her personal quests especially if there's any actual investigation component to them. Not expecting Witcher-level detective work but would be nice.

I’m like Bellara, I think I’ve got a girl crush on Neve. We’ll have great talks over drinks and pipe-smoking in seedy disgusting taverns, and freeze many a fool together on the battlefield!

I think they mentioned you could also find armor specific for companions in the world. We already saw Davrin wiht two different armors then his default outfit, with one being a light armor and the other a heavier one.

From w what little Ive seen I think Neve could definitely give Vivienne a run for her money in terms of snark and an over abbundance of self confidence. Both women possess the "Im better than you and everyone knows it" vibe when she enters any room

That would seem out of character. They definitely said she doesn't think she is superior because she is a mage but given where she comes from, if she did give off vibes of superiority over others, people would naturally assume she was being a typical mage. Nor did I get that impression of her in her story in Tevinter Nights. That's why I like her, because she isn't like Vivienne. She's clever and confident but not arrogant.

If she came across as seeming to think she knew more than the others in that original game play trailer, well that's because she did because she was the only one with magical knowledge.   So when she says interrupting the ritual might be a bad idea, she was drawing off her own knowledge of such matters.   As it turned out, she was right but not necessarily for the reason she was basing her advice on.   I have to admit I will take her saying "I told you so" better than I can Solas ranting at Rook.

Perhapsyou should watc hthe release date traile rvid then she is confiden tand could b esnark ybut I wouldn' tsa yshe's arrogant like Viv is. I think in Neve's case it's jus ta msak she puts on given the job she does given she is a detective who works undercove rfo rthe Shadow Dragons.

Really trying not to watch any videos because I really want to be shocked and awed when I play for the first time.
