Post Pictures Of Your Rook

Needs a lot of work like it's crazy. In some cutscenes she looks like an inbred monster that's like 55 and might have a pen1s secretly (the manly animations are not helping, there! >.<). This is just a placeholder though as I get some CC practice, and experience the game / combat a little.

Lots of great-looking protagonists! This new CC is really good. It's so deep that it might take a while to truly master it, but the results can be really amazing. I thought I knew the species+class combo I'd play for my second playthrough, but some of these Rooks have me second-guessing.

This is genius, I may do this.

I only just now realized that the reason my Rook has this serious grim face is because I turned the corners of his mouth down (-60) and it HUGELY affects the vibe he exudes. My inky has slightly upturned corners and it makes her look ever so faintly amused in the CC.

Really helps with the tense feeling the intro is supposed to convey. Completely different from some of the cheerful looking Rooks I've seen in previews. His companion talk like emotionally stunted children but not my Rook. He's all grim determination!

Which is a fun combination with the easygoing charming pirate he is when shit ain't apocalyptic.
I try to headcanon him being all gruff and let's go get this over with on missios. A tad impatient and easily annoyed. But he likes people and is overall a cheerful guy, he's just a bit grumpy looking when things don't go as planned which can give off a false first impression.
He loves gold and drink and women.
He's "oh hello there" around Neve and a flirt when relaxed.

Let's see how well the game lets me roleplay like that. So far it's not going too terribly. Although I gotta say the sarcastic options are nothing like purple Hawke. No real biting sarcasm, mostly just another nice response phrased slightly less serious.

So the game basically forces you to adjust your roleplaying to fit within these constraints. So my pirate is a helpful guy who decided to lead this gang of hopeless children for some reason... I guess I'll call it charity. Without his help everyone dies and that kind of ruins the fun he's had in life diving for gold and drinking and singing all worries away. So better deal with this annoying elven armageddon...

I made a new Rook, because sadly I aren't feeling the mage. So I went dude Rook. Still a warden.

So definitely starting again after basically two days away from the game.

Need to make a new Rook and decide whether to be female or male and make sure I incorporate all the background stuff.

Yay tomorrow, wake up early and hopefully at least 8 hours game play.
