Lol, I just started replaying the other day and I also kept calling it the Sword Coast. Was so confused, since I knew that was a FR thing, but for the life of me, I couldn't think of what else it could be called.

What i really find funny is: That so many are mad at the body sliders, but if you decied rooks clothings it all doesn't matter. Because the clothing have body typs fixed to it. So the CC body only matter in romance scenes.

Do they, though? 🧐 I seem to recall Corinne saying the clothes/armor stretch to fit whatever we make in the CC…

Where does she said that? Ah, I don't remember, sorry. For some reason I'm thinking the Q&A, but I'm not sure. Catie mentioned in her video on CC that armor interacts in a certain way with different body types. I don’t think she said anything about armor changing body types, although this was the case in Inquisition so it’s certainly possible.

From what I saw if you make someone with broad hips and large derriere you can tell in armor. Same with very narrow hips, no butt. Or pear shaped. Even the LOF mage armor, looking like a belly dancer, there was a difference between slim build and chubby ? So no sudden lean six pack when putting an armor on like DAI, from the preview I saw.

I've now seen at least 3 widely different body types with the exact same armor (Mage Warden), thicc, slender, one of them with a very small waist, hourglass figure, flat chested and not-so-flat chested... so yeah, doesn't seem to be the case at all.

I really like making my elves look as much like the elven tarot card in Inquisition. Something about having the nose bridge perfectly even with the forehead contributes to small details that add to the difference between human and elf. So I was glad in the video I watched that there was pretty good forehead and nose control to make sure I keep that detail.
I see possibilities for making a qunari kinda look like DA2 with the scarring options. The forehead to eye distance is just default too long, makes them look like a Cone Head.
And of course, hair looks glorious. It's kinda funny, because it doesn't have the same sheen to it as the skin? So it looks hyperrealistic while the overall appearance artistically is cartoonish.

Fifa's wasn't prefec tHogwarts wasn' tperfect non eof them ae rperfec. But I will sa y that Veilguard' does look like one of the bettre ones Bioware has made. From a Personalization standpoint (which includes CC + Transmog), I'd say the game that's closest to "perfection" right now is Rise of the Ronin. It's made by Koei Tecmo, the studio that's done the Nioh games, as well as their more infamously known Ninja Gaiden games. Rise of the Ronin has a pretty extensive character creator. There's a number of different sliders and preset options to work with, and there's tons of Transmog items that you can equip onto your character at no cost. You can also change your characters appearance whenever you want. While the hair aesthetics are fine, what's unique about them is you get the baseline hair preset, but some presets will allow you to have bangs and hair pieces on the back (which you get to choose). So if you want long side bangs, and a Japanese maiden bun, you can do that. Dragons Dogma 2 has the better body options when it comes to the sheer number of options and proportions you can work with. However, that game doesn't have an transmog whatsoever. I can't recall if you could alter your characters appearance (or your pawns). DAV seems to be somewhere in the middle between those two. Proportions sizes are reigned in some, but it looks to offer a great enough deal of options. That, and it also comes with Transmog as well. Of course, for a lot of CC enthusiasts, the hair looks alone do enough to lend DAVs CC it's own appeal.

If it wasn't for body sliders being more limited thani'd like and the lack of greying hair option, DAVe's CC would've been near perfect for me. However, in terms of face customization and hair options? This CC IS near perfect to me.
And what i apprreciate the most is that it also have some good looking short and medium hairstyles. I know a lot of people waited for long hair, but i rarely give them to my characters.

Dawnwhisper has uploaded a long form character creator video. I've only watched a little, but she's detailing the sliders/triangles etc too.
Just also remembered she created one of the prettier custom Rooks!
