Getting back to focusing on the character creator, I cannot help but wonder how much time the Rook would spend nude/mostly undressed so much that these top surgery scars would be relevant. You can completely customize your sex and genitalia, even pubic hair and whether or not a man is intact in Cyberpunk, along with a host of the standard additional options like implants, etc., but you will never see yourself completely physically outside of a handful of scenes or except when viewing yoruself in the in-game menu because it is entirely in First person. Didn't stop me from spending hours tweaking my Vs and being particular about the clothes they wore.

The butt sliders 100% max cap is a joke, that's the only way to put it.

"make a statement" "agenda" "downgrading of feminine women" "western developers" We just need "DEI", "THE MESSAGE", and "politics" for my bingo card. You constantly attack anyone that puts forward a differing opinion from as you would put it in your "bingo card" by putting it down claiming buzzwords as a vehicle to break down and dismiss anything any try's to put forward, how sad.

I'm not saying this to question your mod choices, but if mods like this are on Nexus and are - presumably - popular, I don't know how in the hell people who use these specific mods can bitch about how smooth the faces are. There isn't a single line, crinkle, or dip in any of these faces. People who use these mods are bitching about smooth faces? I mean if you don't want a smooth face, there are probably mods for that as well.

It's hard for me to form an opinion before getting my hands on CC, but from what I've seen - I'm somewhat cautious about head to body proportions. The head looks bigger than shoulders on most NPC, which makes them look smaller. Looking at body type presets, I was pleased on it's variety. I'm optimistic I can recreate body to fit with background I've crafted for my OC. As for lack of feminine curves I feel like most of negative comments comes from people, who form their idea of female body of anime, celebrities with plastic surgery and photoshopped instagram posts. And once they unable to create OC with ridiculous hip to waist ratio, they claim game is reject femininity. I'm more concern about female animation. I'm too sick and tired of games just reusing one for males. That is where we truly differ.

But yes that's always been the BioWare way, female Hawke and female Shepard both ran like men. Fem hawke definitely didn't run like a man Was the most awkward looking hip bust ever, made my hip hurt. FemShep did tho share the maleshep animation to save time and money.

I think it's hilarious that you can choose a chubby body shape, it's gonna go great with the crazed-weasel-on-too-much-caffeine style combat.
The female curve sliders are just about as expected for BioWare, but does it really matter? They can't make the weird stumpy overall body shape go away anyway.

You can completely customize your sex and genitalia, even pubic hair and whether or not a man is intact in Cyberpunk # Not intact as in castrated? Or am I thinking too much in terms of veterinary medicine right now? I feel like most of negative comments comes from people, who form their idea of female body of anime, celebrities with plastic surgery and photoshopped instagram posts. And once they unable to create OC with ridiculous hip to waist ratio, they claim game is reject femininity. Well, my first idea of a female body is from myself. The max bust slider from the videos I've seen looks like barely a B-cup to me. I'm really not a picture of femininity but even I sport more than that. I consider myself a feminist and someone who hates objectification. I don't see how limiting the natural range of forms is helping with any of that though. It's like trying to limit sexualisation but overshooting the goal by miles. Personally, that is not a make it or break it point for me, I think the game has more pressing problems than that.

large breasts are unrealistic As a woman with a B-E cup in my life. Large breast aren't unrealistic, but if you would have speak with a woman that have big naturell breast you will hear a lot of negative. You might like to look at them, but not every woman like to have them. They hinder and make things more complicated (sport). So i don't see a problem in the more practical design.
Edit: I'm also a real life "big boob haver", and I would like a CC that includes this body type. There's no envy here. I would like to make a Rook that looks like me.
I understand you, but i think they have a reason for going more realistic with the proportion of the bodies.
And yes creating overly sexual female characters is something that will be done by men
I have no problem with sexual females created in the CC for your character. But with this one all NPCs are created in this CC. And i am not a fan of some JRPGs overly sexual females. So i am happy that it isn't like that.

Isn't that the entire point of fantasy games, to make a more attractive version of yourself because in real life you just aren't that pretty? No not for everyone. Some like to do the most ugly one or the one that fits the character they want to play as. Not everyone want a perfect world.

Now at this point its hard to say what you can and can't do with the CC as the IGN video was just stupid and some haven't really done a deep dive. Tho based on what I've seen, the way they modeled the female chest is quite unflattering. Bit flat, athletic, not very full. But it's really a matter of taste.

Dear Bioware, you say the best CC you've ever created so far is robust, yet I can't increase the length of my Rook's ballsack. Curious.

I do think to date its definitely their best version of the CC, I mean being able to switch the lighting is amazing. There is a lot of options but some of those options are quite limited. Or like with faces you can it seems make some really fugly characters but the body is, well not amazing based on what I've seen so far. Honestly I need to fiddle with it myself to judge it proper. So while I feel very much YEY about something, there's definitely some nay things there too.

I am allready impressed with the nummber of options. And everyone see other things pretty. What you find pretty someone else don't. So i hope everyone can understand that they only get a few of the options they hope for. They can't do everything.
Edit:
That's the whole point of robust. It is BioWARE themselves who are claiming this is robust and such. Yet it really isn't.
It has more option than any Bioware game and i call that robust. They can't give you everything you want, with not cutting options other want. They have only so much time and man power. And only DD2 has a similar robust CC from what i have seen. And they come with extra money pay.

My favourite suggestion of the day came from someone who wanted to recreate Dwayne Johnson.
They'll call them 'The Rook'.

The true reason why your Rook lacks "curves":
Neve just stole them all lol.
Seriously, I suspect that the curves might depend on other sliders like the thin-muscular-fat scale or maybe race as well. The IGN video that has been the source of the drama was using an Elf rook.
