This argument is weak. As an atheist raised christian, I don't say "our god." I say, "The christian god" or "the abrahamic god" to help distinguish it from other gods of the other 100 religions that exist in our world. Bioware could have changed every line to "the elven gods" but they chose not to. You can choose to be Christian or non-Christian. You can't choose to be an elf. This is the difference here. Elven God -> Our God if an elf It has nothing to do with faith. Furthermore, whether or not you believe in them, as an elf they are part of your history. They *were* your gods at some point. It's normal to continue to refer to them in the possessive even if you don't believe in them.... and you shouldn't. In fact the game is pretty clear in telling you that the elves who see what's happening don't believe in them anymore. I come from an ethnoreligion - what I consider the Dalish faith to be - and this happens for us all the time.

Each faction is cool when around other from that faction. I like the Shadow Dragons because it was the best way to show that not everyone other than Dorian and Mae in Tenvinter were heartless cold-blooded murderers.
The Lords of Fortune are fun as a group of treasure hunters, thrill seekers, and adventurers with hearts of gold and also Isabela is with them and that is a bonus for me, since she is my second favorite DA character after Leliana.
The Mourn Watch and Emmerich are a nice subversion of the Necromancer and Lich cliches' plus Emmerich look like horror icons Vincent Price and Peter Cushing.
The Veil Jumpers are cool mix of explorers and adventurers
The Crows are cool assassins who now forced to be freedom fighters.
The Grey Wardens other than the griffins feel pretty much like the same, if they do a DA5 I want a griffin mounts for the Wardens.

OK, I'm not even done with my second run yet but I am declaring the Grey Wardens the Best Faction anyway. (Spoilers for the end of the Lives Spared side quest from Act Two.) If you send the mayor of D'Meta's Crossing to the Wardens, he follows the group who went running off on their own and almost all of them survive as a result! A satisfying story for the mayor (he's just going by Julius these days) and you get to save several Wardens you really can't afford to lose after Weisshaupt.

Yeah, once I realized this, what even is the point to play another faction when GW give you a clear win for this quest.

I have spent 166 hours (so far) playing DATV. Played as Shadow Dragon, Veil Jumper and Grey Warden Rook. Grey Warden is indeed the most immersive. That said, do not start a new playthrough as a Grey Warden thinking you will be immersing yourself into new and unforeseen storytelling. All you will get are a few extra lines here and there (I would be hard pressed to say there are 15 in the entire game) providing the shortest of glimpses of your past interactions with the Grey Wardens, nothing else. For instance, you will know nothing about the living griffons, being oblivious to their existence as your would be when playing the other factions.
Moreover, you will not volunteer yourself to kill the Archdemon (something which only Grey Wardens can do), but rather step away just like you would do as a member of a different faction. At the end of the day, I would choose factions based on gameplay bonuses and/or cosmetic preferences as much as I would for the storytelling.

Well I'm in Act 1 as a Warden and I can say I've already had more faction-specific dialogue options than my entire Crow playthrough.

Mourn Watch has a lot of content, at least that I've noticed. I like them a lot.

Grey Warden dwarf has at least one unique line not available to any other class/race combination! Truly the best kind of Rook .
