The Ashley hate is out of control. She is a decent character, being toe-to-toe with Shepard in terms of skills. She may not agree with Shepard on everything but she still respects him
The racism accusation feels so worn out. If she really is a racist, how come she's saddened over Tali's death in ME3?

Ashley is a good character. I like her because she is a soldier like I was a very long time ago.
When she says 'I can't tell the animals from the aliens', I wanted my Shepard to laugh and agree with her. She has my back or rather my Shepard's back. When that krogan draws his weapon at Shepard, she's there to gun him down. excellent.
In ME2, I wanted an interrupt to smash her in the face for getting stupid when Cerberus is mentioned. She has to pull her head out of her fifth-point-of-contact and see that the collectors are the immediate threat, not Cerberus. One thing I'm curious about is how different would the scene have played out had smurfette told the Alliance that Cerberus has Shepard's body?
In ME3 she is very good on missions. She rarely 'dies'. She is extremely good when using a sniper rilfe. My only complaint is her hair. I liked her with the bun in ME1/2.

I think her hair looks fine only when she's not in battle. I prefer her bun in combat only. The face looks so god awful it made me cringe in agony. I like this makeover by Ellise because this brings out some of her best facial features. No makeup Ash is sexier in my opinion. She looks more like a soldier than a hooker.

Ash does have some sense of humor though. Maybe that's just me laughing at silly jokes and such lol. Almost forgot her humour. What would I do without her sarcastic comments. So glad to have someone at my side who just hits home. Love that discussion on the Citadel with Femshep. Shepard: The Council represents more races than I thought. No wonder they're careful with newcomers. Kaidan: They probably just wanna keep everything running. It has to be hard keeping all of these cultures working together. Ashley: Or maybe they just don't like humans. Shepard: Why not? We got oceans, beautiful women, this emotion called love... according to the old vids, we have everything they want. Kaidan: Well if you put it that way, there's no reason no one'd like you. ...I mean, us. Humans. Ma'am. Ashley (raises eyebrow): You don't take much shore leave, do you, L-T?

Liara on the other hand, is a conniving bitch. She gets only so much love because of her cutesy-girl shtick and her character revolving around Shep, on top of BW constantly shoving her down my throat. Come on, no need to hate Liara. I wouldn't want to miss her just like Ashley. She's insecure and socially awkward, slightly aspie, but none of that makes me value her less. I admire her curiosity, and I enjoy having someone there who's so reasonable, a nice complement to Ashley who can be hot-headed and stubborn at times. Also, she's a badass squadmate, wreaking havoc with her biotics. That said, I don't like how she was rewritten in ME2, and in ME3... well I find it difficult to care about anyone in ME3, to be honest.

I don't even mind her romance, for FemShep anyway. I did not like how show became almost like a "side-girl" in ME2-3. Plus, it seemed that most of the characters got at least a small rewrite. The writer for Ashley and Legion (if I remember correctly, a few other things as well), Chris L'Etoile and some other writers left during ME2 production. Which made it kind of hard to keep characters consistent when new writers took over.

Here's a video example of how Ellise's Ashley Complexion Tweak looks just amazing on Ash. I actually think Ashley looks fine in ME3 the way she is. Its no different than Kaidan who got super "hunk-ified" for ME3. They just prettied her up but she still looks and acts like Ashley. The mod you provided looks a bit off in my opinion. I can't make out what it is, but she looks a little weird. But I do agree Ash can look good without make up.

I agree the complexion is a bit off tbh. I was thinking about adding some details on Ash to make her look a bit more decent. But nonetheless I like the tweaks so far.

I definitely prefer the less makeup version. Looks more natural that way, not like a Vogue magazine photoshoot

That is a nice mod and does make her look good. I think some of the "off" look might just have to do with lighting since some angles I thought the same thing, but overall didn't notice anything odd. I'd like to get the trilogy for my PC so I can pay with some mods, but I really don't want to mess with EA Online/ Origin too.

I downloaded the tweak and installed it into the game. It works, when she is in the Squad. However, in the intro, and on the Normandy, she is back to her vanilla face. Why is that? What's also strange is that all but one dds installed correct. The other--the 3rd dds--is apparently "NOT FOUND IN TREE." I also have the warpack mod downloaded. Could that be the cause? And for some reason, it's not working the Leviathan DLC. But it works in the Citadel DLC. ...

Maybe that's the issue? I dunno, you should probably ask Ellise.

Nothing is working. I really don't want to vanilla my game. Ellise hasn't relied. I don't even know how to uninstall a tpf. This is bs. I don't even have a problem with Ash's original face. I only did it out of curiosity. ...I think it may have been because I didn't unpack the DLC when using me3explorer. And I installed some of the DLC mods after installing ALOT (which is apparently the wrong order).

The best Ash look is the one in my profile picture. Bun and Medium ME1 type armor. (Not necessarily phoenix armor)
Military and practical.
Hated what they did with her appearance in ME3 and the sidelining in both ME2 and 3. Smh.

Even though its gonna be tricky and harder than modding Elder scrolls game but it will be worth it to me. I've learned a thing or two about modding games in general. I have made some mistakes before but now I'm confident enough to mod. I did find some awesome video tutorials on how to install mods for mass effect 1-3 games, one of them is a long video on youtube on how to install most of the mods that I want to install for Mass Effect 3. You probably just have to find very good walkthroughs and detail instructions on how to mod all types of mods for Mass Effect series. But I can understand why you don't want to take that risk again.

I just saw it as impractical, especially for her. I don't know about "hookerish" but a bit much. I think they were going for something along the lines of Miranda, or someone watched some of the last episodes of 'Eureka' and attempted to re-create Erica Cera's character a bit more.

I wasn't overly fond of her "chickification" either. I thought it was against her character as she striked me off as a more pragmatic/practical woman.
They should've kept the open hair for off-duty scenes. Long, flowing hair would be distracting on the battlefield.
An of course, how she has been sidelined in ME2 and ME3... Didn't like that either

The things they really annoyed me were her hybrid catsuit (not quite armor, not quite miranda's suit) and all the makeup, as well as, what I thought were changes to her facial structure. Those however could have been just me looking for things to hate back in the day lol It really is the fault of the Virmire choice unfortunately... they just didn't want to have to make two entirely different character arcs for someone who could be dead. =/
