At the risk of sounding like a broken record (heh) I can't stress enough how awesome the Stellaris soundtrack is. It draws inspiration from several science fiction franchises like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Interstellar, Star Trek, and even Mass Effect but still manages to put it's own unique spin on it.

Though those particular tracks of the Stellaris OST reminded me a bit of this track: Am I way off or is there similarities between them?

I have neglected my own thread. I'm sorry. I haven't done much music sampling lately. Too busy playing modded New Vegas, oops. I did check out the latest Gargantuan music album. Not the most fitting track for Mass Effect perhaps, but I like it a lot: Buy here: Dark Hour - Gargantuan MusicRyder's team is fighting to make it back to the Tempest on a very hostile planet before their life support runs out. Attacked by killer machines while a radiation or snow storm rages.

Here we go, perfect music. Best song in the series so far I remember that tune playing at the world cup as well. Can't remember but I think it was at the 2010 one though in South Africa.

Not exactly related to Me:A Hype, but there is a song and a scene in the ME trilogy who have been made, for me at least, to stay together. And they are the final battle for Earth in ME3 and this:
Ships after ships pouring in formation from FTL jumps in front of the Reapers: millions of vessels from every corner of the Galaxy, from every walk of life, ready to fight in the final struggle for existence. And at 0:17, with the arrive of the Destiny Ascension, the battle starts properly, with main cannon fire exchanged from the longest range, batteries of thanix artilleries lighting up the dark among the stars, where the only light present is the one reflected from Earth. In come the fighters and the gunships, light and small vessels, the former to engage the defences of the enemy, the latter to deploy cluster torpedoes, callies and everything that can pound the shield of the adversary, all while the frenzy of main guns from dreadnaughts and the cruisers never rest. It’s a brawl, with ships at knife distance forced to manoeuvres more apt for stunt flying. Cannon fires open up a safe atmospheric corridor among the Reaper fleet, and all the Hammer fleet converge in the tiny passage, like horses at a mad pace, all while the GARDIAN lasers and the AA from ground shell the ships: entire vessels get lost during re-entry, burning and dying so fast, it’s impossible to keep track of everything that is happening. And I imagine, at 1:00, Zaeed Fucking Massani, piloting its own transport, no god damn way he would allow anyone to let him die if not himself, aiming for ground at idiotic speed with its haunting grin on the face. Almost there, he can already see the ground, when a lucky shot from ground brushes the engines of the shuttle, and they begin to free falling. But Zaaed Massani doesn’t die like that, in a god dammit coffin: so he unfasten the safeties, close the helmet, grab an eezo ‘chute and launch from its sawed shuttle: he’s already the only one who got out of it alive. He falls among flaming scraps, bodies and other ships, touching ground like a big goddam hero at 1:30. Just to discover others choose his same method, and they impact the ground near him: krogans, batarians, heavy asari troops, humans, mercs and regulars, maybe even a couple of crazy ass salarians, and a full platoon of fat turians with an attitude and a score to settle. Ground troops but heavy transports too, (who land with a bump and a make the ground shake), and more important AA GARDIAN platforms, who begin to fill up the airs with their lasers as soon as they are deployed (2.05). Massani doesn’t call nor care: he has a hill to take, just in front of him. Jessy in hand, the others follow the man, pissing metals, and culling reapers as they go, using bombs, biotics, knifes when they finished them, but always running ahead, to take the damn hill. All as more drop from the sky and join them: the air taste like Massani cigars. And when they have almost took the top of the hill, at 2:33 a little Reaper, maybe a troop transports, drops right in front of them. They could even climb it and fuck it to death, but before they can react, the Normandy complete her bombing run with a Thanix shot, opening the Reaper like a charred tin can from inside out, just to escape and rejoin sword in space. Massani salutes the Normandt and for the first time since landing look behind him: with a nod, he lights up one of his cigar, and lead the charge for the other side with a smile on his face.

Oh man, got to go with some of my favorite soundtracks from doctor who.
The 10th Doctor's theme makes me think of ancient discovery, it's haunting and epic. I imagine something like this playing to convey the overwhelming feeling Ryder experiences when they uncover something incredible in Andromeda.
11th Doctor's theme? Now that's a final level song, it's the "This is it everyone! Brace yourselves!" song. It all comes down to this one moment, it's sounds very dramatic but there's hope.

As far as 'space music' goes, I love Civilization: Beyond Earth soundtrack, especially the Rising Tide DLC tracks.
This song in particular is so haunting, yet alluring and pure.

Really love this compilation of music. The description of it is very accurate; Cosmos Vol. 2 is all about the formation and evolution of life in the Universe. From stars, planets and the first life forms all the way up to the future of civilisations.

Uncharted world/hostile environment ambinet: *video snip* *video snip* The second one would also work great in my opinion as a Club/Bar/Hub track Not exactly related to Me:A Hype, but there is a song and a scene in the ME trilogy who have been made, for me at least, to stay together. And they are the final battle for Earth in ME3 and this: *video snip* *Snip* Hmm. Very interesting play by play... though the coin part in the music has me having visions of the original Mario video game... Probably just me though; I am too old to be here. Hallo, Spaceboy! *video snip* *video snip* *video snip* *video snip* *video snip* The days of nostalgia have returned. I don't know why these got me into the 80's again... at least for the moment. or better for Andromeda maybe a remixed faster version for game intro: Really love this compilation of music. The description of it is very accurate; Cosmos Vol. 2 is all about the formation and evolution of life in the Universe. From stars, planets and the first life forms all the way up to the future of civilisations.*video snip* Galaxy music found. *video snip* 11th Doctor's theme? Now that's a final level song, it's the "This is it everyone! Brace yourselves!" song. It all comes down to this one moment, it's sounds very dramatic but there's hope. *video snip* Most music like this never seems to fit its media...HOWEVER for Doctor Who it just seems to fit... Though missing the 9th Doctor version: Also has no one ever noticed that the Doctor Who theme in all incarnations of the shows opening has the Timelord heart beat of four: ? Edit: Sorry for the video snips. My internet apparently locks up trying to multi-quote so many videos.

Here is a little something for you all! Direct from Mass Effect Andromeda! I'm liking what I'm hearing so far Though I really like it, I doubt it will be in the main game itself. It is from Really Slow Motion, similar to Two Steps From Hell. The soundtrack is not revealed to the masses yet, although the track that plays in the briefing videos can be ingame.

Speaking of Dr. Who. The theme of the 11th Doctor and the Suicide Mission got separated at birth: I always thought that both sounded so similar and then I found this article (back when all the links still worked).
