Soundcheck. Interesting... got me thinking of these for some reason: Club/Bar/Hub: A good second one: That style got me thinking it might be better for a larger venue. The recent trailer got me wondering if we construct habitats. Say a nightclub on a spire on the outer hull of the Nexus as it orbits to the nightside of some planet or moon. sunsets from space then STARS! Lots of windows and a dancefloor outside with malfunctioning barriers that provide a x% chance of experiencing being spaced every minute you're out there.

Oh, I guess I should add a song. This isn't really for the game, more a flashback forward? It's another Cora Novoa track. It's remixed by Dark Soul Project. I'd call it progressive trance meets deep house. Lots of developments in it. The first washy sounding trance part starts around two minutes. There's a Mass Effect like sound that lifts off at 2:30 and is a motif through the work. It gives me visualizations of space travel. Enjoy. Secret Garden

I hope they will give squad members "signature themes" (remember how Samara had that that duduk-inspired theme). I don't know why but I am getting an Eastern-European-hammered-dulcimer vibe from Jaal--like in one of my favorite soundtracks:

As to using malfunctioning barriers: "Uh... Ryder you are supposed to be finding us home not dancing." "Just a minute let me fini......" *Barrier goes down. Ryder floats off into space* *Every stares and sighs* "Find the twin. We got to start over..... again."

That ME sound is raised and integrated into that amazing pulse. Like engines tearing space time. Jaw dropping. It's amazing what a composition like this can do with a signature sound like that.

Sorry to necro an old thread. Response in other thread brought this back to me.
Many tracks have the chill-out fill but some are fast...whichever would be good for some down time or a chill-out club.
Just wish it had a track start index: Project Earth: Starmeggeddon soundtrack:

Here we go, perfect music. Best song in the series so far I remember that tune playing at the world cup as well. Can't remember but I think it was at the 2010 one though in South Africa. It was Euro 2012 in Poland/Ukraine.

I don't know if you can fuel a derailed train (or if doing so serves any purpose) (I am cautiously interested in the game, but I am not hyped - not like Fallout 4 (or ME3 and DA:I) at least, that game was a punch into the guts IMHO (just like ME3) thanks to Todd Howard the liar, not that Bioware's marketing division didn't also lie about ME3 (they said they will treat player choices well and they also said that there were a ton of endings and that they were vastly different from each other!)...I also got to admit that I want this game to be good, otherwise I will have to stop adopting Bioware games early on (or even pre-ordering), if I can do that (IMHO I've given them too many chances already...I gave them a second chance after DA2, a third one after ME3 and I am ATM giving them another after DA:I which wasn't great either, it had some moments (like that singing cutscene after loosing Heaven), but over all? It wasn't very good!) because sadly: Bioware RPGs are unique, I mean I love "The Witcher 3" (my new measuring stick for RPGs), but it doesn't have companions sadly and the romance options are very limited (2 real choices and some flings)...I'd love it if another company made similar games (competition is always good for the customer!)) Still, some "epic" music? What counts as epic? Well, something with a space-theme might work There, a song to the German science fiction series "Perry Rhodan" which is arguably the longest running in the world (there has been a new issue (50-60 pages on average) every week for over 50 years now (the series started in the 1960's - 8th September 1961 to be precise - and has been running ever since!)...not to mention sub-series about certain characters and extra books, short stories etc. etc. (it's quite big...the lore is massive of course...it's one of the things that turned me into a science fiction nerd (not that I dislike fantasy)) greetings LAX

A lovely tense emotional space with a timeless quality to it can be accessed through this song. It closes around you leaving a fullness and desire. Suitable for Andromeda romance montage imagining.

oooooh I love these types of threads! I swear this is how I find most of my music I heard this song in the trailer for whatever Transformer movie is coming out next. It kind of reminds me more the ME trilogy rather than Andromeda, but it could fit in a more melancholy/desperate part of the story, I suppose. I bought the song off itunes as soon as I got home from the theater and honestly in the version I have the vocals are a lot more clear/natural sounding and a lot less electronic-y

It mixed exquisitely with the Max Cooper track above which I was listening to before it.

This was my ME3 "credits song". While it carries a melancholy tone throughout there is a seemingly conscious aggressive challenge to it in the music. A metaphor of ruminating about the past but trying to find a future. It might not ever feel the same without you Shep but we're moving on.

I always imagined the piano part in this track starting at 1:12:27 is awesome as a romance theme for ME

Given that they've already used Johnny Cash I wonder if they'll use more country for the luvvy duvvy stuff...
