Anime is a Mistake

I liked the trailers...



I liked the anime honestly despite my rather...conflicting views of the manga itself. But that could be just because it restricted itself to the One Year War aspects and didn't delve into the insanity of its post OYW era.

No underwater supercarriers

I really liked Hellsing Ultimate! So many interesting characters, concepts and moments all wrapped a bloody action packed shell.

plus its got very pretty animation.

My fav character is and will always be Integra "search and destroy" XD
All that madness, sometimes I was laughing nervously !

That awful character XD I remember seen a perfect cosplay of him at a conv, it was just so scary XD

But seriously I recommend Igloo.

The first two seasons follow this Zeon technical team as they explore usage of experimental tech during the One Year War.

It begins at the start of the war and concludes at the end of it, they test everything from particle cannons to experimental mobile suits or tanks.

That AMV I posted here follows the second season finale at A Baoa Qu during the final battle of the One Year War, in which they take part. 



Its a fairly dark, mature and grounded Gundam series.

Sort of like Thunderbolt before Thunderbolt.

Minor spoiler: A lot of people die...a lot.

Its like frigging GOT, don't get invested into characters, even main one's is my advice to anyone watching Igloo for the first time.

The Delta is actually a pretty good MS. Though I'm more of a Zeon supporter, but some of the Federation Suits like the Gundams, Jestas, Jegans, GM Strikers, GM Snipers, GM Commands I like. The Nemo started off as an AEUG MS if I remember correctly. 

I felt like CCA also screwed up besides their handling of Char and characters like Quess, but the end. I understand that Newtypes are supposed to do normally impossible things, and by no means do I have a problem with that. However, pushing back an asteroid is a bit much for me. One Gundam? C'mon. Without a doubt though a redeeming feature of that movie is Quess dying, but it isn't enough. When you make it so a character dying is a redeeming feature, there is a problem.  

Unicorn had an amazing OST. Banshee remains a favorite. So does the Battle. Both I felt like had a powerful feel to them. 

Never forget.

Im gonna start watching jojo HAHA, it looks fun, so does samurai champloo!

Samurai Champloo is freaking awesome in its combat scenes and its humor. Lullabies of the Lost is just heart wrenching.

I watched quite a bit before the turn of the century (when the only things available were Bubblegum Crisis, Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon), but not much in the past 10 years. I lean toward the shoujo side.

My daughter is now interested in anime so I started her off on Cardcaptor Sakura and Escaflowne. We recently started watching Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood, which I hadn't seen, though I did watch the original series.
