Scott's thread had a bunch of pictures when his model was announced too and he still hasn't passed Liam's views. I guess everyone really wants more Liam 

Also I must've missed that confirmation if they did. Anyone have a source?

In that one cinematic trailer, it looks like both Liam and Scott fall out of the ship at the same time, and then in another we see just Liam and Sara together on that same planet with her 'this isn't home' dialogue. So I think what happens is - we wake up from cryo, our ark goes down, Liam flies out of the ship and we fall after him. We wake up on glowy fern planet, and he's the one we find and wander around with to discover our intended home is actually super hostile. So, I definitely agree he's probably our first squadmate.

I'm also going to agree that we might finally see Liam in the upcoming demo. I know they're more likely to focus on environments and such, but showing off characters with super cool hair is a great way to showcase a game's graphics. Right Bioware?

If Liam's icon is anything to go by, he's got a spiky hair style. I, for one, really want to see it.

Oh no.. oh no no no no, I am getting that vibe from Mass Effect 1, if you are a male, Ashley touches the beacon, if you are a woman, Kaidan touches the beacon.
It sort of makes sense, there the player is a female character and she has Liam, while there was a pic of the MaleRyder (I think it is in the same planet, at least they look hurt) with Cora

To be fair, even BroRyder seems bald and different in that pic, his eyebrows are weird, yet it is his character.

She is using THAT armor, and Tom Taylorson confirmed is Cora, I could swear someone confirmed the pic I posted before was Cora too

No, this is Cora's armor from the front. As you can see, her helmet and armor do not match the woman in that image you posted earlier. 


Can you show me these confirmations? I don't recall seeing them and this place is very thorough. 

Bioware has never done that in the history of their promotional content. They have always had and used a default look for characters during that stage of a game cycle.

Then link it. I'm not taking your word for it. Actually, link it in Cora's thread since we shouldn't get into a full conversation about her in a thread devoted to Liam. 

Apparently it is hard, since that tweet is not talking about the image we were discussing. 
And yes, Blackwall did have that armor in DAI. 
Anyway, I didn't intend a whole conversation out of this. Was just pointing out that the person being cradled in Scott's arms was not Cora because the outfit is different and Cora has only been shown in the outfit I linked. Let's end this here since this thread is about Liam. 

It may also be Sarah. It looks like she can't walk and that fits with the info they told us about your sibling being hurt after the accident.

Sorry, but didn't a developer confirm that wasn't Sara? Plus Jiens spacesuit has that glowing symbol on the left side of her chest plate, Sara does not.

As for the male, he is the same buzzcut man from the leaked pre-alpha footage, and the 2016 E3 trailer. So he is either an early placeholder for Scott they reused, a different human male with the Ai project, or Alec (but they changed the color of his spacesuit in order to confuse us).

Ah, I see. Looking through some screenshots I'm guessing then that's Jien. The arms are a bit different, but otherwise the armor looks like hers in the orientation vid. Though that seems odd because Jien travels on the Nexus, not on the human Ark (which arrives late). But maybe she meets up with us at the beginning of the game? Or that shot is from some other point in the story and they just put it in because it looked good there... But Cora so far has always been seen wearing more of a light bodysuit thing that shows off her figure more. They could've put her in different armor, of course, though, so who knows?
