Why won't they show Liam's face????  he's just mr. Helmet man squadmate right now. He has his helmet off at the end of the trailer, but he's really blurry and behind Ryder. Hope they fix this problem soon.  |

Aha! Shinobi's wording is misleading! From a legit looking screencap a few posts down in the first russian link or just a few posts above this one lol: If this is the actual text from Bioware, they didn't break it, yet. The general public was unaware (or disbelieving) of the Reapers in 2185, but the people behind this Andromeda initiative could still have known and been preparing. It's still pretty troubling that I have to infer this from the way it's written, but at least it's still (narrowly) avoiding "welp, we're bored, let's just go to Andromeda". I don't think it's troubling, it's to be expected. Bioware doesn't want the fanbase dwelling on the fact that this journey is, at its core, a way of getting away from the ME3 endings. They want us to focus on positive buzzwords like "New Home" and "Exploration!" |

Bioware doesn't want the fanbase dwelling on the fact that this journey is, at its core, a way of getting away from the ME3 endings. They want us to focus on positive buzzwords like "New Home" and "Exploration!" But the Reapers are still mentioned, once. Instead of saying "the public is unware of the Reaper invasion"- a useless statement, why not make it a positive statement like "some heeded Shepard's warnings about the Reapers and chose to prepare in their own way- that way was the Andromeda initiative". Still I suppose your point of view still implies some awareness of the problem, so that's at least comforting. |

From what I've seen, read etc. I am very excited for this, everything looks to be pretty great.
But I'm also concerned about the prospect of the next game (if there is one) changing protagonists as well.
The different protagonists is a big reason why I don't like DA, but I can't remember reading anywhere that MEA will have another protag next time around???

I've seen this post before. But instead of December 1st it was today. They'll show something then, let's just hope it's something good. This is like the fifth time that kind of post has shown up. It is being said now. It was being said about N7 Day after EA Play 2016. It was being said about EA Play last N7 Day. It was said about last N7 Day after E3 2015. And it was said about E3 2015 in late 2014. This has really become a Boy Who Cries Wolf scenario. They said ahead of time that we'll get a trailer, and we got two trailers, three if you count the one from last week. |

Yeah, I'm kinda frustrated by the lack of gameplay as well. But at least they said when, this time. And December 1st is right around the corner. I've seen this post before. But instead of December 1st it was today. They'll show something then, let's just hope it's something good. In all fairness -hell, I've probably been the most critical poster about the "see you in six months approach"- they did not promise us gameplay today. They promised a trailer, and delivered it with a few extra stuff. For December 1st, they promised gameplay! |

Now we are talking! Can not tell how much I was disappointed with the trailer - not because it's bad, no, but because they hinted on tons of information on N7 that they were simply unable to show on E3 (because it was so much to show and not enough time!) - and to get 1.5 minute of ... practically nothing? I was shocked (still am).

Another thing that really grinds my gears. They are switching to a card system. Think of ROTR. Yeh, that kind'a card system. I'm not sure, but it sure sounds that way to me. And if I'm playing with some asshat who has -200% damage output (or in other words, he receives +200% exp and credits for completing the level) on his level 1 M6 Carniflex, I'm gonna be pissed. If I have to carry some sorry people over the finish line, I'mma gonna be pissed.
