Her writer liked bi-Cora tweets which gave people hope not so long ago. It's the devs that make the ultimate decision since they are the ones who tells the story. Let the Tomb Raider and The Witcher be an example of it. In TR Lara's writer wanted to make Lara a lesbian but devs said no. Which is funny because you can't play Tomb Raider without noticing the clear subtext that Lara and Sam were in a same-sex relationship. Sam's entire role in the game seems pretty much to serve as the damsel in distress that Lara must rescue. There does exist a male character who's interested in Lara, but his crush goes entirely unrequited and ignored for most of the game, before he sacrifices himself to save her life. Personally, I like to think that Rhianna Pratchett got her own back on the devs by simply crossing out any explicit mention that Lara was bi/lesbian, while leaving the romantic dialogue and relationship subtext completely intact. Not saying that she actually did do this, but it would explain a lot. Hmm. The way I understood it, Rhi Pratchett originally wanted to keep Lara and Sam's relationship ambiguous, even though it's obvious gay-bait, and she also wanted the climax of the game to force Lara to kill Sam in order to stop Himiko. Studio interference gave us the relatively happy ending that we saw, because they were concerned that killing off Sam would've made the whole thing too grimdark. And it wasn't until Gail Simone's participation in the comics that we got Lara x Sam being an explicitly acknowledged relationship. After Pratchett took up the head writer job on the comics, Lara x Sam was deemphasized and eventually the whole Sam-Himiko mind control thing happened again and she ended up in a mental institution, which is kind of a more roundabout way of getting to the same original ending for TR2013 that Pratchett apparently wanted. In RotTR, which Pratchett also lead-wrote, Sam was relegated to a therapy audio-log, a glorified footnote. Lately, in the comics, they've finally killed the Sam-Himiko mind control plot, but now she and Lara still aren't together, because blah blah blah keep her safe from Trinity go into hiding. It's a better outcome than where Pratchett left it after RotTR, but it still sucks. Because, y'know, can't have a lesbian relationship without tragedy. --- On the actual topic of Cora, I like how supportive she is of Ryder in the field. It's easy to tell in private that she's pissed off about Ryder's promotion to Pathfinder, but when talking to everybody else, including close team members, she acts like a good soldier. Any objections are between her and Ryder alone; at all other times, in front of all other people, she follows the Pathfinder's lead. I really respect that. I know that the Andromeda Initiative isn't a military project, but before we found out that Cora was straight my main objection to romancing her was how unprofessional it would've been. Now that I've had time to chew on it, I think I might like the friendship path a lot...y'know, pending future plot discoveries, of course.

Now that I've had time to chew on it, I think I might like the friendship path a lot...y'know, pending future plot discoveries, of course. Rhi said she talked with devs about making Lara a lesbian, but they told her a big no. Sam ending up under Himiko's control was canon for ROTTR, Rhi was ordered to put it into the comics for those gamers who loves continuity and not only played the prev game, but also read comics and books (and btw, in the book Sam was under Himiko's control too, but Lara found some kind of an artifact that was supposed to help). Devs wanted to kill Sam and did kill her at first, but early during the gameplay tests people who were trying the game for them said it's a completely bad idea because it means Lara failed and there're limits to such dark themes. TR was already dark enough, the end should've been rewarding. So they changed the end, but found a way to get rid of Sam afterwards anyway. I wonder if she'll ever come back, I stopped reading comics long time ago and have no idea what's going on. I loved ROTTR and am waiting for another game already. I for sure want to be close friends with Cora when I'm going to play as Sara. She's 100% going to end up as my teammate. Can't decide who's going to be the second one. Peebee or Vatra probably. Too bad we can't have a bigger squad. I loved the size of DA:I team so much...

From what I've seen in that romance video so far, Cora seems like she's going to be fun to romance. I got the opposite reaction, from what I saw she seems rather... dull, romance wise. It's kind of like they are trying to mimic the Miranda romance with Cora having some kind rivalry with you because you are the favourite and not her, while at the same time not rejecting your flirts and reluctantly showing interest. And the exact same formula doesn't work twice on me.

I bet Cora, Scott, and PeeBee can all get it on what gives you that idea Well PeeBee is bi(kinda) and Cora is only kinda striaght. She seems to have had sex it's some asari. (And frankly if you do it with asari and are female you aren't really that straight. I know they don't have genders but they are very similar to female humans. They would be mistakable for humans if they were less blue and had hair) And we know some romances won't be too upset about not having monotomy (maybe they won't have a relationship though)

On the actual topic of Cora, I like how supportive she is of Ryder in the field. Very much agree with this, I'm really enjoying how nuanced they're making her character. Even though Ryder doesn't seem prepared or had anywhere near the level of training that she went through, Cora remains professional and is willing to put her own objections aside for the sake of the mission.
The game wasted no time in showing that Cora had developed a strong bond with Alec Ryder and holds him in high regard. Even if she doesn't exactly trust Scott/Sara yet or think they're ready for the responsibility, she trust her mentor's judgement because he wouldn't have made them his successor if he didn't think they were capable.
It's kind of interesting that Cora's mild jealousy towards Ryder for "stealing" her job as Pathfinder, could easily be reversed. It's obvious that Alec had a far better relationship with Cora than he did with his own children, to whom he seems to have been a little distant due to his work. You have to imagine on some level, Ryder might be jealous of Cora for having Alec's respect and approval, something that the prologue made it seem like they found hard to get from him (at least openly).

You have to imagine on some level, Ryder might be jealous of Cora for having Alec's respect and approval, something that the prologue made it seem like they found hard to get from him (at least openly). I don't think she's jelly tbh. She knows they end up in a life-death situation in which a father will always save his child, it's not stealing the job. No one could've predicted that. Good thing he made sure twins went through N7 training so they're at least physically capable of doing their job. And I bet she knows that too. It doesn't mean she's less important than she used to be since this young Pathfinder needs help. More help than Alec ever did since Alec had an experience. Cora HAS an experience so she's a perfect guidance for either Sara or Scott. Besides, I think Alec was always going to make his kids Pathfinders. Cora probably too, but I think twins were his priority. He wouldn't give them the best training otherwise. What I find kinda funny is the fact that she's most likely in early 30 while twins are 22-23 which makes her older than Scott if we romance him with her.

Well, Blackwall and Cassandra were potentially 15 years older than the Inquisitor... And don't forget about Liara (70 years older than Shepard) and Solas (old... just... old). With the exception of the Asari, no one point the age difference out... I find it funny that if Ryder twins were around 30 and Cora in her early twenties, no one would care about the age difference

If not, we could assume he/she was the same age or even a bit older than Cass Late bloomers happen, haha! Liara was considered a young adult, in her culture she was considered most likely younger than Shepard even though she was 106. She also looked and felt young, at least in ME1. She changed a lot in ME3 and felt much more mature, wiser than Shepard too, but it never bothered me. She was so very well written When I look at Cora & Scott it just feels weird and I can't help it

When I look at Cora & Scott it just feels weird and I can't help it The Inquisitor's age is supposed to be vague. It was stated that they can be 20-40 years old (so... not so young, not so old to be an adventurer). That's why I wrote "potentially older". As for Cora and Scott... well, I don't mind it, but I guess it might lead to some interesting dialogues ("Hey, Cora! How did you manage to seduce such a fine young man... at your age?"; "So young and innocent... how did you hunt him down... huntress?")* between Cora and other people * obviously, it's just a jealousy! Nothing more, nothing less!

She was 1 of the 3 characters most wanted to end up as an option for both twins. The other 2 were Liam and Jaal. BW failed to listen with Cora and Liam so I'm not surprised people are like this. That's why I wasn't checking tumblr for a while - twitter is much bigger mess and will continue to be like this for quite a long time.
