Cora Harper (Official Thread)

yeah I'm aiming for a more conventional romance choice for my first playthrough or 2 so for example my first Sara will likely romance Liam my first Scott will likely romance Cora. I was thinking I might play a feisty  Sara later to romance Drack with if he's an option purely because we've not had a Krogan romance yet and I'd be interested to see how it would play out though.

I arbitrarily picked those languages since first names don't necessarily have to be indicative of one's background or nationality-- although you are probably correct in assuming that in this case they will be. I would certainly welcome Cora who speaks with a Greek, Norwegian, Moroccan, South African, Hungarian, Korean, Indian etc. accent. Unfortunately, Systems Alliance appears to generally employ only humans with either American or British accents (very odd practice from an organization that supposedly represents the entire human race--the UN really needs to get with the program). All other accents are generally limited to aliens, Cerberus, various goons, and people roaming the space on their own. A bit more variety within AI and especially among our human AI squad mates would be amazing.

I imagine that has partially to do with accessibility of voice actors for BioWare (native English speakers are more likely to have some form of North American/British accent, and those who can do a GOOD accent are probably few and far between). Still, I would like to see more variety in dialect and accents for ME humans.

As for Cora, I'm leaning towards human based on her avatar and the fact we always seem to have at least one male human and one female human on our ME teams. Also, it's really, really hard for me not to think of this every time I see/hear her name, despite the different spelling:

Ugh, I hope not. The less Cora is like Korra, the better. 

The show was okay though had problems, but those can be forgiven due to the real world stuff that interfered with its production. Still pales in comparison to The Last Airbender though. As for the character, she is by far the worst Avatar in the history of Avatars and does the worst thing a character, particularly the protagonist, in a story can do: not grow as a character. 

I hope she's more like Asami

I would also disagree that she doesn't change at the end of the series. As for the series itself, while it's not as consistent as The Last Airbender, I like the Korra series a bit more because it was more ambitious, and had far better villains and conflicts.

I wouldn't think of her because I have no idea who that is, though I'm guessing it's another Cora/Korra/etc.

More or less the reaction I expected. Never seen the Tron remake.

I always come to this forum to get some kind of laugh of the day, because why would Korra be a self insert for fat lonely girls? both Asami and Korra are thin as fuck. Also everyone loves Asami, like who even would hate her? also I am glad they are together now.

For the topic Cora is probably going to be a kind of Josephine character, why? because Peebee is the wild and Vetra is the strict, Cora is going to be the middle therm. 

But unfortunately she likes rough sex.
