But unfortunately she likes rough sex. I hope you are wrong. They cannot do the same character, so I am expecting something close personality wise but really different in other levels.

Of course Bioware can do the same character. They've done it several times before, like all the characters afflicted with Carth Syndrome. Plus they wouldn't be the same character since Josephine hates violence and refuses to use it where Cora do to being a squadmate clearly doesn't.

I was mostly referring to her powers not her personality I always come to this forum to get some kind of laugh of the day, because why would Korra be a self insert for fat lonely girls? both Asami and Korra are thin as fuck. Also everyone loves Asami, like who even would hate her? also I am glad they are together now. For the topic Cora is probably going to be a kind of Josephine character, why? because Peebee is the wild and Vetra is the strict, Cora is going to be the middle therm. So there is Wild, Strict and Peaceful? There could always be a Wild, Strict and REAPER DOOMSDAY DEVICE.

Don't know why but I'm getting this feeling of a tough woman, with clear ideas who likes to play it rough. I don't believe she is going to be a princess like Josephine.

Well, based on my detailed analysis on Bioware tropes for romanceable female characters (who knows, maybe I'll write a paper one of these days), I imagine Vetra will be our tough, no-nonsense, self-righteous warrior woman while Peebee will be closer to the mandatory cute, sort of naive girly gal. Which would make Cora the resident bad girl. So yeah, it's looking like she likes it rough from where I'm standing.

Commander Shepard: You still sassing' me soldier? I think you need more physical training. Ashley Williams: Tsk. Now, skipper, what will it take to prove I'm in prime condition?

I highly doubt Cora will be like Ashley, simply because they are going to want to avoid the new companions being seen as thee 2.0 of the old similar companions. We see this already with some companions being the opposite of their Shepard Trilogy counterparts.

Personally hope she's not like Ashley, i never really warmed to her character in ME1 and was delighted when Miranda and to some extent Jack arrived and provided alternative human female romance. Nor do i want her to be anything like the chaste disney princess Josephine in appearance or personality.

Ash is unique and my favorite character in the entire trilogy(we all have our favorites). A little bit of sass in Cora would be nice though, imo.

Yvonne Strahovski was how I discovered Mass Effect. I was planning on romancing her but I thought I better start the trilogy by playing me1 first. Well, I did and discovered Ash. The rest is history. Miranda would definitely be my second choice.

More or less the reaction I expected. Never seen the Tron remake. Sequel But yeah, check it out, it's pretty good. As to Cora I'm avoiding expecting any specific trait so as to not be disappointed. BioWare's strength is characters, this is perhaps the one area I still have faith in them for.

Yeah, no idea what way Cora will go but knowing me I'll probably like her regardless. I can't remember the last time I hated a companion character. I appreciate a wide variety of personality traits in characters, so long as they're well fleshed out.

Well, I was referring to the fact that the character there is Korra, not the bending. But yeah that would be neat from a biotics standpoint. I loved Korra - both the show and the character. It would be weird for me if Cora was similar just because it would be an odd nerd overlap in my mind, but if she as a similar personality, I'm okay with that. I like fiery characters. I also like more laid back people. Mostly I just want variety in character types. I rarely hate companion characters, there's usually something interesting about them to me and so long as there's not 100% selfish, I usually like them. The show was okay though had problems, but those can be forgiven due to the real world stuff that interfered with its production. Still pales in comparison to The Last Airbender though. As for the character, she is by far the worst Avatar in the history of Avatars and does the worst thing a character, particularly the protagonist, in a story can do: not grow as a character. Worst Avatar in the history of Avatars? Seriously ? Worse than Kuruk, who mostly goofed off and only stepped up in the hopes of getting his wife back from Koh? Worse than Roku, whose inaction led to his own death, the genocide of the Air Nomads and 100 Years War? What, Korra beating the Triads, the Equalists, Vaatu, the Red Lotus and the Earth Kingdom wasn't good enough? Saving countless lives, being instrumental in reforming the Air Nomads and reunifying the physical and Spirit Worlds wasn't good enough ? Even if you don't like Korra's character, you can't deny her accomplishments. Oh, and please don't give me that "she had a lot of help" tripe, because no one achieves great things completely on their own. We'll just have to agree to disagree on Korra's growth. The Korra of Air would not have been as open, patient, thoughtful, and forgiving as she became by Balance. I find it particularly funny that you you blast Korra for "failing to grow", and deny the slightest possibility for change and redemption for other characters (Solas, Blackwall,* Isabella, Sera, etc.). Or that Sara Ryder having confidence and a snarky sense of humor somehow makes her irredeemable. *Everyone assumes Solas will be the new Big Bad since he monologued his plan to bring down the Veil to the Inquisitor at the end of Trespasser. Everyone takes Solas at his word, when tricks and lies are the Dread Wolf's forte. Seriously, no one here has ever heard of a Zero Approval Gambit? Read Patrick Weekes' own Rogues of the Republic series to see just how much he loves misdirection. As for Blackwall, whether or not you think he deserves redemption, his Trespasser Pardoned and Warden Epilogues objectively prove that he was at least honest in his desire to atone.

As for Blackwall, whether or not you think he deserves redemption, his Trespasser Pardoned and Warden Epilogues objectively prove that he was at least honest in his desire to atone. Yes, seriously. Other than the Equalists, every single bad thing that happens is her fault. Those lives would never have been in danger if it wasn't for her, she did squat about actually reforming the Air Nomads other than granting some random people airbending powers(which leads to them being uprooted from their lives and hunted), and reunifying the physical and spirit world is definitely not seen as a universally good thing. As for failing to grow, I'll give you a perfect example since the series literally ends on this. The entire problem with Balance is that Korra runs off leading to there being no person to try to bring balance to the world so Kuvira steps in trying to do that. I don't really blame her for this since she couldn't bend and was having severe psychological issues, however at the end of the series when the world is unstable again what does she do? She decides to leave the world again to go on a months long vacation with her girlfriend. She learns nothing and dooms the world to have a situation that just ended happen again. Agreed on having to agree to disagree. I don't want to make this thread offtopic. Also, where did I say Sarah Ryder is irredeemable? Don't make stuff up trying to discredit me. I never said she was irredeemable, just I won't be a fan of her with that as a preset personality and will play as Scott instead.
