I like Cora she is very professional and tough but with a soft heart. She is smart and reliable the kind of person you'd really want in a relationship. The only thing I did not like about her was the fixation she had for the Asari. I get you like and respect them but I'd have preferred the game focused less on that.
I'm positive though that sequels will improve on that.

I have to disagree, what Cora got is enough, there's no need to extend her romance content with patches, there's more important issues for Bioware to tackle, her romance works well as it is, and can be really relevant in the game if you choose so, their story will most likely continue through DLC, and that's how it should be. I can agree on that bioware has more important improvements to make to MEA, no doubt. But as someone put it in some other thread, it's about improving the content that is already there, not making the whole game a dating sim. Sure, I think there is a lot of build-up lacking to the commited romance, but hey, it's a a rpg-shooter sci-fi game so that is to a certain level understandable even though I still think there are some smaller improvements that should be made. But the almost total drop of the romance story after the sex scene just feels out of place. |

Because the main game ends not long after that? You get her in a cutscene during the ending. It works really well. There's no need to patch romances. This Jaal one is already getting people to think this the norm, but it shouldn't.
Let's continue it via DLC or a sequel instead.

I really wasn't sure how I felt about Cora at first. Like I spent most of early game waiting for the other shoe to drop with her, worried that she would try to undermine my authority or be super snooty or bitter about being my senior and then having the job she trained for stolen from underneath her (which would be entirely fair, considering early game Ryder is on a spectrum from "well meaning but incredibly green" to "human disaster riding the hot mess express, going nowhere fast"), but aside from one short conversation about it, it's never really mentioned again.
I have to say she grew on me a lot over the course of the game! I only did her friendship route but I found her relationship with Ryder to ultimately be really sweet in that "big sis will always have your back" sorta way. The gardening cutscene on Eos is really nice, and I loved her banter with the party members, the rare times I had her along (I played a charge/nova vanguard. Bootleg Asari Huntress Scott complete with the Asari sword :'D...... sorry Cora. I really am stealing everything from you. Unintentionally, I swear?????).

I'm kinda all over the Galaxy Map when it comes to doing things right now...But I've started a romance with Cora; I got her fist loyalty mission,we've talked about her Biotics and I think, the conversation about her wanting a garden.... I've been to the Asari Ark (and had the conversation in her quarters about her feelings regarding Sarissa's conduct)...But since then I haven 't been able to get anywhere with her.
I've been reading the Strategy Guide and it says "you must have interrogated Vehn Terev to obtain the second half of "Asari Ark: Cora's Loyalty Continued" I didn't get the chance to interrogate Vehn Terev--he died before I could get to him. Does that mean I can't romance Cora anymore? How do I advance her loyalty mission and our relationship status?
I'll start the whole game over again if I have to.
