Never said he was XO. I said he assumed XO role when Miranda was off-ship, which was stupid. Where did you get the "he assumed XO" from? He would be the last one I would consider for XO. Considering EDI relayed all the information to him and he was the one to contact you whenever something happened, I don't think it's as tretch to say he assumed XO's role. |

Cora is Alec's second in command, there is no evidence that she will be our second in command. We don't yet know the reasons why we took over and she didn't. Also for Mass Effect 2, I just assumed Jacob would be the XO if Shepard and Miranda were both of the ship. Clearly BioWare has faith in his leadership skills since he's one of 3 that could lead the other team in the final mission successfully. Jacob and Miranda can both be outside though. As for Cora, before recruiting the other characters, we have only Cora and Liam in the team. I think it's pretty safe she'll remain the second in command. |

He fly's the ship. If something goes wrong that needs his attention, what will do? Hobble his way to see what the problem is? No. An XO is free to move about the ship making sure everything is running fine. A pilot cannot do that. |

I'd still use her and rotate her with all the squadmates, but I'd prefer if she has some alternate outfits that look more like armour. |

I mean, I'm far from an anti rule of cool fundamentalist (I'm fine with the Pathfinder's gigantic room, for instance), but ridiculous attires in situations which obviously call for a very specific armor/suit type is kind of a pet peeve of mine. |

Well, I don't share that view, as I said, but I can understand why it'd disappoint people to that extent. Though in truth ME doesn't really have that much content for squadmates in combat and exploration. Even banter was rather small compared to DA games so far. So it's not likely they'd miss much by not bringing them in combat. |

Judging from the fact Cora is a biotic, I'd figure she could just shield herself from incoming fire. Personally I find her default armor to be appropriate when on highly hazardous planets.

The fully sealed suit/armor is actually needed more for things like environmental hazards, since kinetic and biotic barriers cannot protect people from that according to the lore. |

The first time we saw Peebee, she was wearing something more armour-like (from what we could tell in the shot). I think the new crafting system for companions will be similar to DAI, a certain number of set looks that you can tweak.

I can't believe people would actually not use characters just because they're not wearing the type of armor they think they should be wearing. I prefer the company of female squad mates and i could care less if they were wearing bikinis or full battle armor. As long as they know how to use a gun and can kill our enemies I'm fine.
