It's all joke, looking like a feminazi doesn't make you one, even though predictions of Cassandra were right, she is self righteous and she has that annoying feminist dialogue with fem Inquisitor (Except for the whole reading books and being sweet, that is only shown once or twice in the whole game) We don't know her personality, but as I said before you can't fuck a personality, and she is not going to be so interesting to outcome her face you love so much. Besides, she is a woman fighting in the space, she seems to be a strong independent woman, and I am sure she won't make me a sandwich even if I ask nicely, she seems like the type that will punch me in the face. Sorry, but which human female squadmate, in the trilogy, would make you a sandwich? Ashley, Miranda and Jack were all women with a rather strong personality. What you said fit exactly all those three.I don't 'love' her face. I find her attractive, but I'm not gushing over her. As I said to you before, I like to alternate pics, and I choose this in particular not just because I like Cora, but because I'm glad they finally improved on the noodle arms several women character have in Bioware games. Hopefully if they have elves back as PC in the next DA game they'll fix that as well. Oh my god you are right, the game is full of feminists. While the men were all different (Kaidan, Jacob and James), the women were all the same character with different size of booty, I guess since they didn't look like feminist I didn't notice! this needs to be quickly remedied. But I said the last part before because you said she could be the total opposite of we think, and It is pretty impossible she is the opposite of a feminist.

I could really go for a sammich right now, make me a sammich Two Faces If I make you a sandwich who will stop Cora from eating it before I give it to you? She is so fat that if she is the lost daughter of Tim then she was kept a secret because she ate the entire family. Ohh god, it would be awesome if she is an orphan - What happened to Cora's family? -- She ate them

Wait....Manly chest? In what universe is that chest going to considered manly? If a man had those breasts he'd be either far or suffering from gynaecomastia. You might prefer women with a larger bosom, but she's not even flat. If you want to criticize, do it right (as others did in this thread), or you'll look like a troll. I think people are just jumping out the window with outlandish comments because she's not a Alliance model. I just let it rock man I can't wait to romance her as I did with Ashley, and Cassandra.

I honestly do not understand the complaints about Cora's face and hair. Cora's military so she would logically have short hair. I personally am not into asymmetrical hairstyles but Cora's one is not too bad.
As for her face, Miranda Lawson's in-game face in Mass Effect 2 was far worse - She looked like Michael Jackson. Sure, Cora is no ME3 Ashley but she is not bad looking.

He, among others (not all criticizing her though) beloved that her hairstyle means you're a feminist, or a SJW, or similar. My favorite quote came from an Italian gaming site, where a user called her an anti-Trump and Hillary supporter, among other things. I'll laugh my ass off if she turns out to not fit those people's stereotype, but I'm sure it won't be enough on change their minds (of some at least) and saying they see were wrong on their personality assumption, even if they don't like her hair or face (which is completely fine, I'm not against people criticizing characters). A feminazi is typically overweight, a lazy simpleton, loud-mouthed, has pink or blue spiky hair, has piercings, etc... Cora's hair is blonde, not pink or blue. Her hair is also not spiky, it is short and asymmetrical. Additionally, Cora is not overweight and judging by her skills and training, is most definitely not lazy and not a simpleton. Lastly, based on her voice we heard recently, it does not suggest that she is loud mouthed, but suggests that she is sophisticated. Similarly, Cassandra's hair is her natural colour and it is neither pink nor blue. Cassandra's hair is also not spiky, but is instead short and braided. Cassandra is also not overweight and is most definitely not a lazy simpleton. If you were to ascribe stereotypes to her, she would be a female religious conservative - Faithful, pious and secretly reading smutty literature. The reality is that Bioware, while having racist developers like Manveer Heir on their team, is not stupid enough to create feminazi characters because at the end of the day, Bioware is a business and they need to make money. Feminazis are highly unappealing to most people (more and more people of both sexes are not identifying as feminists these days, let alone a hardcore or a fundamental feminist) so Bioware is not going to make characters like them. Even characters with any social justice leanings receive noticeable negative feedback from many fans which Bioware ends up responding to. Take Sera and how her character matures in Trespasser DLC and contrast that with how downright awful she can be to a religious Elven Inquisitor.

Well, this thread took a turn.
Eh, I dig her look. I'm still going for Peebee first, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what her romance is like.
As for her possible Cerberus connections -- I think it will matter more thematically than anything. After all, the plot of this game will be finding a new home amongst dozens of new species. You can imagine how xenophobia and Manifest Destiny that can get. She could have her past of living in a similar environment show how that shaped her as a person.

You're awfully judgmental for a guy with half his face burnt to a crisp. Tsk tsk. But at least half my face is pretty! Cora's entire face is ugly, I am 50% but she is 100% ugly. Besides there are more "fuck burned people" fetish than "fuck fat people" fetish. I don't think that's true. Just anecdotally, I've seen a lot more evidence of the latter.

What can't these forums have a thumbs down button for people? I would like to use it now. I sympathise More seriously, with over 1,500 posts added daily, the moderators can't be on top of every post. Our rules do however probit: > Spamming the forums with pointless crap. > Posting comments that serve no purpose but to hurt or get a reaction The line between that and simply having a controversial opinion (which is kind of ok) is a fuzzy one, but where the line is crossed, it's ok to let a moderator know and we'll check it out. Just saying...

So if it turns out that Cora's surname isn't a coincidence, what direction do you think they'll take with it? On the surface, volunteering to be embedded in a team of Asari Huntresses would seem like a pretty clear act of rebellion against TIM, but on the other hand I suppose she could have been there to learn their techniques for the advancement of humanity. There are several ways that they could play it. I do hope that she's not a Cerberus agent, though. That would be dull.

Well, even if she's her daughter, we don't know what kind of relationship they had. While it's possible going for the asari is either a sign or rebellion or influenced by learning those techniques for 'humanity', there's also the chance they've been estranged. I don't think she'll be a Cerberus agent because it might turn out the plot in a similar way that Trespasser. I don't want her to be a runaway either because it'll make her backstory too similar to Miranda.

Was speculating elsewhere that; What if like Oriana Lawson, we learn Cora was adopted for her own protection? Perhaps Cora didn't know her true heritage until much later in her life... if she ever learned it at all?
If she never knew about TIM, maybe his only involvement was pulling strings to subtly steer her towards the Andromeda Initiative. He actually doesn't have any nefarious plans for her or Cerberus in Andromeda, but only intended it to keep her safe, should his own plans to combat the Reapers fail in the Milky Way.
In the comics it's shown that Eva's death clearly affected TIM and he even went to the trouble of creating an Eva mech later on, so he does possess some degree of sentimentality. For someone who's obsessed with ensuring the future of humanity, what's to say he's not equally concerned with the future for human he helped bring into the world?
Revealing that TIM's plan for Cora was to keep her out of harm when the Reapers arrived, would give his character some more depth and dimensions in hindsight. Sort of similar to what they did in Red vs Blue with the Director, slowly revealing his true motivations, background and relationship to Agent Tex and Carolina.

I like that backstory, but: Why would she keep TIM's surname if she's adopted? Name's alright as an homage to Eva, but wouldn't she have her adoptive family's surname then?
