Yep, same here. Peebe is going to be Sera v2 (not to mention I don't find her attractive) and Vetra, well, let's just say I'd gladly have her as a friend, because I can't imagine going THERE with her. And Cora's blonde (or at least she was, hopefully they didn't change it)!!! That alone makes her my number one target. Unless she has some major character flaw (in my eyes) I'm definitely romancing her. Personally I prefer Brunettes. Ash, Miranda, Morrigan, Isabella, Cassandra, Bastila.  Redheads are a close second. Triss, Kira Carson. Elara Dorne was excellent blonde companion in swtor so I have high hopes for Cora.  As you pointed out though, there were lots of brunettes in BioWare games already and no blondes (not for males at least) and that's why I'm excited. I like brunettes a lot, I just like blondes even more (platinum especially, thankfully there are a lot of them here in Poland ), hence my excitement. When it comes to redheads I don't really like the very bright ones, but it won't stop me in a game (as I romanced both Leliana and Triss). As for SWTOR, I only play Imperials, so it's Lana for me. |

You are probably right concerning each having at least one human character as a potential LI. Personally, there is only one human female on the squad and I would prefer my PCs' LI to be a squadmate. That means Cora is my only hope. I have no interest in Vetra or Peebee. I'm the opposite. I prefer a LI not be a squadmate. That's why I like romancing Sam and romancing Josephine in DAI But why? Fighting alongside with your LI and listening to his/her comments about plot scenes isn't cool for you? |

About Cora, I'm glad her hairstyle isn't a buzzcut. I wonder if she remained blonde as the leak suggested. Both tech demo and leak presented her as such. There is a difference, but how much depends on the person. Some friendships can be near or on equal level of romantic interests. If a situation called to leave a squadmate to die or leave to join another unit, you would pick the friend, most likely every time. Meaning you would be playing favorites which the other squadmates will see. |

Technically they didn't show it themselves, it was something found on a dev's curriculum or something like that. That footage is too old to be valid, considering how different Drack and Ryder looks there as well, and since her icon shows a different hairstyle I think it's very likely it changed from that footage. Although I hope as well that the blonde colour remained. |

I always feel good knowing that my LI is with me in a fight. She's got my back, and I have hers so to speak. The bond grows stronger as you experience difficult and dangerous situations together and progress through the story. It only takes a blink of an eye for all that to be taken away. For me, being away from a LI while on a mission, gives my character and LI something to talk about when I get back, and vice versa for the LI who can talk about what he/she did while I was on a mission. |

I hear you. If it were possible to lose my LI in a blink of an eye then yes, I would prefer she stay behind out of danger. I don't think I'd play the game very long though. I always imagine my PC and LI having conversations after the mission. Debating errors and close calls, maybe armor removal, shower and massage being involved.   |

Agree, especially given the limited budget that romances are going to get that bond building on missions is extremely important to me and hence why i generally find non squaddie romances vastly inferior. Yep, having them on missions also means more opportunities for your romance to be acknowledged in some way (either by some actions of the two of you, or a third party). In an open world game like ME:A will be it's even more important IMO, because you'll be spending lots of time on missions and away from your "base" where non-squad LI would reside. |

Why I think Cora will actually be the sentinel in Mass Effect: Andromeda!I think most of us assumed because of the leak that Cora was an adept becuase she has the ability to deploy biotic shields. Most of what the leaked showed has turned out to be true. But from the leaked tech demo the ability that is next to the icon assumed to be Cora's is **incenerate.** I say this becuase Ryder uses that ability in the new gameplay trailer and you can see it going on cooldown. It is the same ability next to Cora's icon from the tech demo. So Cora can deploy biotic shields AND use incenerate? Also, Bioware employees have sated that they want to avoid making characters too similar to characters from the original trilogy, so It would make sense that a female companion is the Sentinel this time to avoid a male character being compared to Kaidan. Thoughts??
