Why I think Cora will actually be the sentinel in Mass Effect: Andromeda!I think most of us assumed because of the leak that Cora was an adept becuase she has the ability to deploy biotic shields. Most of what the leaked showed has turned out to be true. But from the leaked tech demo the ability that is next to the icon assumed to be Cora's is **incenerate.** I say this becuase Ryder uses that ability in the new gameplay trailer and you can see it going on cooldown. It is the same ability next to Cora's icon from the tech demo. So Cora can deploy biotic shields AND use incenerate? Also, Bioware employees have sated that they want to avoid making characters too similar to characters from the original trilogy, so It would make sense that a female companion is the Sentinel this time to avoid a male character being compared to Kaidan. Thoughts??  It definitely could be the case. It could also be that using certain abilities makes others go on cooldown though, as a balance meassure of sorts. |

Something funny I thought I'd share. There's a russian unofficial BSN forum (similar to this one) and they have threads for characters as well. I know russian a bit so I decided to look around. Funny thing is, in Cora thread they have a note that says she's Tom Taylorson's favorite romance, based on this tweet: The thing is, it was some random guy saying it's his official romance who simply happened to have the same avatar as Tom As of this moment, no one has corrected it yet. I'm debating on whether to bring it up myself or not. |

I didn't realize that there was even mentions about her officially yet, I just vaguely remembered the name from the leak, but yeah, this thread has definitely made me more interested in finding out more about her, if only because of--   Slightly off topic, but they have said that powers in MEA have individual cooldowns like in the first ME game. |

I hear you--all we've seen so far of official images is a faint reflection from the mask. There was the leak a while back that showed a far-off look at Cora's face, where at the time she did look white with blond hair, but that could have changed over time.
But yeah, I saw it in my head as a joking thing, sort of "yeah, yeah, this is what we're supposed to do, I know the score, let's get it over with," with an undertone of seriously wanting to make sure that the other sibling won't be hurt by Ryder.

Out of those I think I would dig Sackhoff the most, if not just so we can get another BSG alum in there. Maybe Ryan as well, though I think Cora is supposed to be around the same age as the Ryders and Liam, in her mid-20s. But then I guess with voices it doesn't matter too much...

Eh, sorry to interrupt, but how do you determine the likeness of VA for the character we've yet to hear? Pure speculation on my part. Some folks are guessing that part of the reason why they haven't showed Cora and Liam yet is because their VAs are kinda famous and modeled after them. So I'm thinking not too famous but TV famous with some voice work in their acting career. Since Mass Effect used Battlestar Galactica (2003) actors before, I ruled in Katee Sackhoff. +1 me if any of my suggestions are right |

If Bioware goes the face-map route, the face model and voice actor may turn out to be separate people. Male Shep, Liara, Ashley, Kaidan, Jacob, Samara, Jack, and Brooks for instance all had face models that didn't voice the characters that were modeled on them. Only Miranda & Allers were voiced by the face model, I believe. If Bioware's past track record is anything to go by, it's more likely the face model wouldn't also be the voice actor. |

Apologies if it was mentioned already.
Why has Bio refused to show Cora's face? Hints around the interweb (including Biofan and Ability Drain) point to Cora being mocapped from the Voice Actress herself.... same as with Miranda Lawson whose voice and face was taken from Yvonne Strahosvki. I believe Cora is young and if so, the actress representing her must also be young.
This theory makes some sense but what I can't understand is why Cora's and Liam's, for that matter, have not made "an appearance" yet. Perhaps Bio intends to make another Big Reveal in January 2017.
If EA and Bio are kneeling to the gods of Diversity, then I believe Bio has Liam as a coloured person (I think that's the right Americanism) and Cora oriental. Of course, she could be a native American as well.
As to Cora being inhibited, I don't know where that comes from but a link is appreciated.
