Peebee (Official Thread)

I saw that and yep certainly looks like PeeBee's was well liked. Could change when we actually meet the squad though. I'm interested to see who would win in a poll after release.
And on Neil's tweet, yep you can certainly try and you at least got a response.  Been over a day and he hasn't answered the one where I asked if PeeBee would choose between one dear friend/lover or 99 innocent strangers.
Asked Cora's writer the same question and she responded. Was really interested to see what he'd say. Not sure what she'd pick honestly.

That's a good question actually and who knows, maybe he'll answer to it. *fingers crossed*

I'm not sure what would be PeeBee's choice but if I had to guess, I think she would choose a friend/lover. I get the impression that she would do anything to save someone she cares about. I don't expect her to care easily, in fact, I imagine she'll be very much conflicted about her "feelings" toward a friend or a lover, but at the end, if she cares, she would sacrifice 99 innocent strangers.
I could be wrong and I guess we'll know for sure once we play the game (Unless Neil answer your question)

Anyway, since you like to ask questions, no one asked anything to Christine Lakin. Do you think she'd answer to some questions? I won't ask her anything, I just can't. Maybe it's because I used to watch Step By Step when I was a kid, idk... but I'm too shy to talk to her

I asked Christine Lakin a couple questions like what her favorite part about voice acting at bioware was and on a scale from 1-10 how many lines did she have to voice for PeeBee with 10 being a LOT (stuff that Tom would answer) but she hasn't answered them. After her va vid came out it seems like she's moved on or at least is trying not to break her NDA like Fryda and Tom.
At least we're getting close to release. Should be getting some new stuff soon that'll hopefully give us snippets on PeeBee. Really hoping the next gameplay vid shows PeeBee in her support role. Ian makes her sound like one of the better companions to bring around when it comes to combat. Glad he answered my question but he's made me more impatient to see PeeBee in combat than before 
Wonder what her melee weapon will be. Some biotic blast or tech stun...

lol yeah, I am aware of all the hatred that Liara gets. Never understood why. Yeah she was the devs "pet" as many say but I'd be lying if I'd say that I didn't like that. She's always been the one and only for me. Only once I betrayed her and it was in ME2 with Garrus. I felt like sh*t even if it was only to earn the paramour trophy (I didn't even bother to import that save in ME3)

You're probably right about the minority being the loudest. But I feel like PeeBee hasn't received as much love as she deserves? Maybe because her fanbase is quieter than the others? Idk, but it's nice to see that she got alot of votes.

At least we're louder than Drack, that poor old meaty turtle needs some attention probably more than all the other squadmates right now. 

Same, looking to romance Vetra first -good thing I bought the game guide so I know who I romanceable before the game installs. then going for Peebee and after that I'm not sure. Might go for a crew romance, or hell, maybe romance another Pathfinder.

Would be cool if we could romance the Turian or Asari pathfinders. Salarian's don't really DO romance. Their courtships are all very ... business like. With negotiations and pedigrees and ecetera

I know. Christine seems alot more focused on other things. I'm following her on twitter but she only post about a web serie? she's working on.

I'm alot curious about PeeBee's support role too. I hope to see more of her skills during combat in a next trailer. She seems like the best option for now. Especially since the others seem to fight at close range which is kind of risky if the AI isn't good. I'm looking forward to see how we can command the squad because based on most of our squad's skills, I'd say that most of them are going to die in the worst situations if we aren't able to control them. I could be wrong, but their behaviors during combat is kind of weird if you look at the last trailer. They didn't die there, but imagine if you do an insanity run and they move like that. So yeah, I already know that PeeBee will always be in my squad, she's probably going to be my new Miranda and Liara. I'm also hoping that Jaal has a support role as well or that atleast he isn't one who fight at close range.

Everyone is just excited currently about the new shiny toys, Vetra and Jaal. Both are a new experience to the fans. Once the game comes out we'll see more art for Peebee and fans join in here.

PB and Cora are the ones I'm looking forward to the most tbh and not just because I look forward to romancing them in 2 separate playthroughs with my MRyder, but they seem to have the most interesting backgrounds so far. Still haven't seen Jaal's yet, but I hope his character or at least character plot with Ryder will be complex.
So far from my point of view we got:
Cora: trained with Asari commandos, second-in-command to Alec so our relationship with her will probably be bit more personal which is great for a personal story like Andromeda that has no overarching threat
Liam: not as much is known, but his background seems pretty average, nothing sticks out beyond being an AI loyalist
Drack: old krogan so war stories to tell, probably going to be the typical "shoot first ask questions later" type, nothing too extravagant
Jaal: need more info, all we really know is that he's an Angaran squadmate with a sniper
Vetra: Turian with a shifty background normally associated with underground types and has family within the initiative, probably the 3rd most interesting, 4th depending on Jaal's background
PeeBee: adventurer, impulsive, judging from Christine's vid she has a hard time getting too attached to others maybe some backstory on that, comes from Hyetiana a planet where Xenobiologists congregate, interest in remnant tech so we should expect talks of tech advancement from her and large involvement in the new discoveries we'll make, devs agreed that she was similar to chars like Indiana Jones, probably going to be the most exciting/comical character in our squad that likes to deflect serious stuff with humor, but I don't doubt she'll be somewhat serious on certain matters as well
That's pretty much how I see each of the chars atm. Probably won't know much more about them beyond their combat behaviors until release. Appearance wise though, this is the best squad we have had in a Mass Effect game. They all stick out, none of them look bland. Look forward to getting to meeting them and seeing what they're all about.
