Peebee (Official Thread)

I wonder if Peebee's face mark will be explained in the game somehow, I mean usually that doesn't matter much but hers is a striking one!

I like the theories about it being to hide her eyebrows, but not even sure if they will be mentioned either.

Not a new info, I'm sure others have mentioned it before, perhaps in this thread too. In the 5 min gameplay trailer before the meet with Sloan Kelly there is an asari on the right with a similar marking. Maybe it's a cultural thing? Followers of *asari deity*? A simple asari fashion choice? It would be interesting if it is indeed a ~religious thing. PB as a believer? Or she's joined just to fit in, as you said, to hide the eyebrows. It's recessive gene or something (I just peeked in the related thread), maybe the barefaced young asari girls were mean to her. She found some solace in the religion. An asari vallaslin story would be interesting. Maybe add a remove option here too, it could be used to enrich the romance. They're walking with Ryder and to every shocked asari she could just give the two finger and say beep you, I'm loved and accepted.


We'll see. Maybe we're reading too much into it and it was just used to hide clunky facial animations. 

Yep. I found that out now. I guess BioWare just creates new lore whenever it's convenient. As long as Peebee's backstory is interesting and they make use of these additions, I don't mind very much! I think they could have done something far more interesting than it just being a rare recessive gene, though.

What has peebee done to get so many haters. Have i missed something

The only thing I can think of is that stunt with the escape pod. That is a perfectly valid reason to not have a positive opinion about a character.
