You have to admit, overall facial animations and mannerisms have improved quite a bit in less than a year. It will be interesting to see if there are any further improvements by the time the game is available for early access.

So, alright, here's the some questions for people in the thread (NSFW ones put in spoilers) :

1. Tell us about what you hope for for the dynamic between your Ryder(s) and Peebee. Will there be friendship? Love? Hate? Also, please tell us why their dynamic will be that way.
2. What do you think Peebee would do when she's not hunting for Remnant tech?
3. What sort of stuff do you imagine Peebee arguing with someone over?
4. Do you think Peebee could be an extranet troll? If so, what would her trolling style be in your opinion?

6. What role do you hope she takes in the main plot?
7. If you're bringing Peebee with your Ryder into missions, which other squadmate do you want to hear her banter with?
8. What is your theory on her parentage and family situation?
9. If you could describe Peebee (with everything you know about her right now) in a single emoticon, what emoticon would you choose?

11. What kind of fanart are you eager to see of Peebee?

She doesn't have human ancestry. Ian misspoke and apologized for that confusion.

Yeah, seems that Asari once had eyebrows during an earlier evolutionary stage. A chance mutation caused this recessive gene to re-emerge with Peebee, similar to how humans can sometimes be born with atavistic traits such as extra nipples or even a tail.

1. The Ryder I have building up in my head after seeing all the stuff so far, I think he'll love her, but there will be problems. I think he's been struggling a lot between wanting to go out and explore and do new things, but also following in his father's footsteps to try to gain some sort of affection from him. Sometimes the two mesh together, but not often. I think because of the military discipline he's gained, he won't be very happy with what Peebee did in her Loyalty Mission, but overall he'll find her to be an asset and a bit of a kindred spirit. My Ryder, much like me, just wants to go and find out what's out there and I can see both him and Peebee looking on in awe at some of the cool shit they'll find and our other companion will be like, "You two want to be alone with the crazy alien monolith?" I don't know, MAYBE?! 

2. Besides studying the Remnant tech? I think she would just be studying and finding out new things to do and...doing them. I can totally see her blaring some strange Angaran throat singing or something despite everyone's cries for her to turn that shit off. 

3. I'm guessing closemindedness, and she would probably be against any cruelty or needlessly harsh actions against people we can do in the game. She's about discovery, not violence -- she kills because she has to, not because she wants to.

4. I'm not sure how many trolling styles there are, but I can see her being super peppy about it, which only rustles people's jimmies all the more.


6. I think it depends on just how much the Remnant play a key part. She'll be the expert on it on the team, and I'm sure she would give a lot of insight and some ideas on how to stop the Kett from getting to all that tech.

7. Jaal will undoubtedly bring out a LOT of questions from Peebee. I think Cora will bring out some interesting stuff about what it means to be asari, and Vetra will try to be a big sis to Peebee. Really, if there's a comparison with Sera, I think the big one is that she'll probably have great banter with every one at least once.

8. Parentage...I could see her father being a salarian or something along those lines. Despite the trolling earlier, I really doubt her family will play a big part of her questline, because that takes away from her Lone Wolf nature. She left almost everything that was connected to her behind, now she can truly be on her own, she thinks, but then she gets tangled up in the Tempest and makes her question things more...

11. N00dz. Seriously, I'd love to see more fan-art of her in motion/combat, something with her tinkering with the technology she's discovered, generally just happy and excited for all the cool shit we're going to see in Andromeda.
