Yeah, things will always get in the way. They said they wanted the salarians to be more important in this game since they're a major race and barely appear, but so far, it doesn't look like it will change. Also announced that there was a lot of work put into Kallo, but he's still a crew member. Why are they so reluctant to give us a salarian squadmate ? ( Also, his name made me think of Kero from Sakura Card Captor. ) |

Maybe if Kallo turns out to be a hit, in DLC or something, he will join us on some special mission. |

( Also, his name made me think of Kero from Sakura Card Captor. )Even if he is just a crew member he can still be important. Joker started out as a relatively minor crew member in ME1 but I'd say he was a main character in ME3. |

You play as Joker briefly in Me2. Maybe in Andromeda there will be a part where we actually get to fly the Tempest. We never get to fly the Normandy ourselves n yet we had a skycar cab, Mako, Hovercraft, Mechs to drive

Ok, I am so looking forward to meeting our Strawberry Salarian! And well, I had a moment and thought of something. Its fluff. Pure Fluff, don't worry its nothing dirty. Sara x Kallo, now some may like it, some may not. I would adore a Kallo romance. I like his voice, and his enthusiasm when talking about the Tempest and Nomad. Even if he isn't an LI I at least hope we can let him know how cute we think he is  |

I'm still interested in finding out why Kallo is your pilot. Is the Tempest the pathfinder ship for the Ark Hyperion? I find it strange that a salarian would be the pilot for a human ship.
Not that I'm complaining! I love salarians. I can't wait to bug him while he's busy flying the ship.

I'm still interested in finding out why Kallo is your pilot. Is the Tempest the pathfinder ship for the Ark Hyperion? I find it strange that a salarian would be the pilot for a human ship. Not that I'm complaining! I love salarians. I can't wait to bug him while he's busy flying the ship. I think the Salarians were involved with making the Tempest, because Kallo says in the 3rd Initiative briefing that he's been the Tempest's pilot since the prototype days. It would make sense, since Salarians have always been more about stealth than firepower, so the Tempest lacking any weaponry or shields is completely in character for them.  ( That's part of the reason why I love Salarians so much. They're the tech-rogue species! They're the sneak-thieves of Mass Effect. ) I really, really hope Kallo gets a meet-the-voice-actor video and character-kit page. I'm starving for some info on the guy. [ PAUSES] But, not too much info, I guess. One of the memories that sticks out to me from the Trilogy is talking to Joker, and him getting very defensive about his Vrolik's syndrome and me having no clue what he was talking about. Both Shepard and I were taken aback for several seconds there. |

Salarians probably wouldn't want such silly things as heavy shields and weapons slowing them down haha And I totally agree with you on the sneak-thieves, that's why I love them. I have a feeling that if Kallo Jath is a romance option for Ryder, it'll be one of those romances the BW devs warned wouldn't go very far or would be more casual than the others. Possibly, though if he is a romance I see it as being more one of those that doesn't involve sex or at least left ambiguous on that front. They are essentially asexual so not interested in that, but have been shown to be capable of being involved in long romantic relationships. |

I'm bored, so I'm trying to make Kallo in the Sims 4. It is... not going well. The alien skin tones just don't... work well. He's not pretty: despite both being EA games, the Sims is just not quite capable of making Salarians. BUT I DID MY BEST.  There are five images in the spoiler tags, so, just a forewarning.     You can see where I tried to flatten his nose. Shrinking it was no good, and since Salarians do have nostrils I felt widening and flattening his nose was the best way. And his ears! You can't give aliens horns in Sims 4, so I just made his ears super pointy and big, and then gave him the stubble-redhead to make his head a different color. And, gosh. He's so white. The lavender is just as bad, though, if not a little worse. If they had a pinkish skin-tone, I think it would have gone better. But, overall, I'm quite pleased? I got the basic shape down, at least. The lips are right, and the eyes are nice, and the shape of the skull is decent. It's not perfect, but, it's okay. Also, bonus: here's my Ryder, Alex.  As for if I'm gonna pair Kallo with my Sim!Ryder? Ah, maybe? I dunno! ( They're both unflirty SIms, so, it could be really funny to watch.) |

Let me repeat that we need a Kallo Jath platonic romance for Sara in our lives!
I never had a thing for Salarians like I had for Turians or Drell whom I find very attractive , Kallo is special. He looks cute ,youthful ,inquisitive, bright and he would definitely be the perfect match for a nerdier Sara roleplay.
I mean there 's something pure and beautiful in his big black eyes.
Omg I am going to have hard time choosing a romance for my first playthrough. In ME I have romanced Liara as BroShep and Garrus as FemShep. In Dragon Age games , I have always chosen in advance and then my character ended up with someone else. In Origins, I tried for Alistair but his character never saw eye to eye with mine but was drawn like a magnet to Zevran. In Inquisition , I decided Iron Bull but then went for Blackwall for my human mage but something never clicked and I ended with Cullen.(Well in DA2 it was Fenris and no otger:p)
Back on topic , I strongly believe we need this purely innocent romance/deep friendship between a FemRyder and Kallo.
