I'd love a Keep-like thing ot set up world states. Not because I want major consequences in Andromeda. On the contrary, I am glad that Andormeda will loose a lot of the baggage that the trilogy had. It's one of the major reasons to move to another galaxy in the first place and IMO it was a great idea to do so. But a Kepp would be great, just for very small details that devs might want to put into the game, e.g. some codex entries about Shepard and the battle of the Citadel or some NPC could reference something from ME1 at some point, that was decision dependent. You know, just for those very few small things, it would be great to just have the information around. I don't really see any harm in having that (apart from the costs to BW for making and maintainnig such a website of course ).

The problem is the logistical nightmare of having to implement major choices such as the destruction of the town, for they would have to create two towns to cover what the one would have and if there is anything important there they would have to re-create it twice. Look at the returning companions quality was in Mass Effect 3, to me they felt they had very little weight to the story because they had to write in an alternate character to replace them if they had died prior to Mass Effect 3. Even the Rachni in Mass Effect 3 as well, look at all the upset people because the status of the queen changed so it acknowledged what the player did, but it wasn't done with enough change to the game to please people. I don't get why the destruction of a town is a logistical nightmare for a sequel and not for a game itself. If you can create the consequences of a destroyed/not destroyed town in a game, surely they can carry over to a sequel? Of course, you can't do so for a dozen towns, but that would be you writing yourself into a corner (again!), not a consequence of letting choices carry over. The real problem comes from world/galaxy wide consequences for one's actions, and that's why it baffles me that, giving how they apparently value so much the whole "choices carry over" dynamic, they keep going for big epics instead of smaller stakes stories. Going only by past BioWare games the major choices happen when you are finished with the area so they would just need to put in how the world reacted to what happened and not an alternate scenario to if it happened and if it didn't happen in the same game. The problem is when they need to create multiple sets of assets and alternate locations/NPCs for important things otherwise you have the "Liara Situation" where they place a much larger burden on something they know will be in the game.

Should there be one? Yes. It would be nice to keep the lore consistent and would do away w/ any need for non-player canon changes. (like Udina as Councilor in ME3) Will there be one? Who knows.

Udina as councilor happened when there was still a full-on savegame import. There was really not much of an excuse for that one.

Uldina became the default councilor when in one of the books it was dictated that he was the councilor, its why Anderson makes the comment about standing down.

I actually like the idea of continuity, provided it's made relevant and not retconned in a ridiculous way.
DA Keep was a good start, also because I could just go totally random on my choices there and see where it gets me.

If they continue with an Andromeda game and the choices you made I think it is nice to have something like a Mass Effect Keep. But please, please with the possibility to use it offline as well - it sucks if you want to start a new DA:I but your Internetprovider has a technical problem, your connection is kind of unstable, not as strong as it should be or you have no connection at all for longer periods of time (yes here you have that in most more rural places that rely on Edge, WLAN sticks or Satelite Internet). You can't create a new world state or load one that you enjoyed.
Another issue I had with the Keep was that it felt kind of clunky. I think on my first visit of the Keep I needed more than 1 1/2 hour to figure out how my old playthroughs played out and I stumbled in my first DA:I playthrough on things that weren't like they should be thanks to my trolling memories and wrong handling of the Keep's content.
So, because I love turtles my votes goes to them.

I don't think it's necessary. At most, some choice you made in the original trilogy may have a very minor impact on a later game, because having a major impact would make that game far more complex than it needs to me.
I do like the Keep as a tool, but it should be reserved for a tight-knit group of games, such as for the original trilogy (they did this through the Genesis DLC). They charged far too much for it, but it was there.
