All the Turians who ever spoke in a Mass Effect game, as well as Nyreen specifically. Not a single one of them was memorable or had a distinguishable personality, save Vakarian, the black sheep of all Turians. Anit that apart of being Turian. Shut up and take orders. Garrus went as far as admitting he sucks at being Turian because of his inability to do so. Bingo. So now we need a new Turian squadmate who's going to take up a priceless squaddie slot and have to be subject to her life draining boringness for a full game? Best case scenario is she sucks so bad Bioware never features another Turian squadmate for the rest of the Mass Effect series. There's just no where to go post-Garrus, unfortunately. Nyreen was plenty, and the fact that Bioware marched forward with more of that -- outrageous. It should've been a female Drell, instead. Far more potential. Dare I say it? Far more humanity.

Primarch Victus was a strong personality. An alpha male who did things his way, achieved massive success, and pissed off many other Turians in the process. We've got Krogans for that already.

But I suppose the sound of the voice, which has a similar problem with the sound of a Turian's voice, would cast too restrictive of limits to the point of cartoonishness.

Bioware should've been all over that one.

Thane was such a bad@$$ that he met Leng on the battlefield, avoided toothbrushes, floss, and other weapons of hygiene, and lived to tell the tale.

Then he plays chicken with Leng instead of just shooting at him from where he was. Then on his deathbed he says "that assassin should be embarrassed that a terminally ill Drell stopped him". I would've put a renegade interrupt for my Shepard to say, "If you had shot the guy when you had the chance, you might not be lying here on your deathbed". Shepard walks away as Thane dies

It depends on whether the character is male or female. Male would probably be drell and female would be quarian. To be fair though the native character would be cool for a squad mate

Really cause so far she has shown to be the silent killer that keeps to them self. What's your fear of her being a girl power moron coming from? All the Turians who ever spoke in a Mass Effect game, as well as Nyreen specifically. Not a single one of them was memorable or had a distinguishable personality, save Vakarian, the black sheep of all Turians. Lorik Qui'in Lilihierax Turian Councilor and of course Saren Personally I am most excited for the female turian squadmember, and will be glad they are nothing like Thane.

Based on his analysis of himself in a critical state, he knew he would've had his shot blocked by Leng's shield. In turn, this would've given his own position away. While his body was in a state of "Critical Failure," he threw everything he had at Leng. And he stood a good chance and might've normally beaten Leng, but Leng was just that good and in reality it was he who was lucky to survive that day. A terminally ill assassin almost ended him.

I'll give you Saren only, but he was the main villain of ME 1 (besides you know who). We aren't getting a villain as a sidekick, though, although now that I think about it that would be interesting. Anyway, we're getting another impossibly monotonous Turian. The rest of those Turians blur into the same old, same old. Super serious, excessively professional, anal retentive, and painfully dull warriors. And no, I won't give Vetra credit if at least she's cocky and cracks wise. How predictable.

Word it however you want. Had he fired at Leng when he had the chance, he most likely not be lying on his deathbed. If Leng was really an assassin, he would've killed the councilor right away instead of standing still for whatever reason.

You are aware that this scene looks ridiculous more because of Bioware's tendency to create cringy cut-scenes rather than due to Thane being unprofessional, right?... Can say the same for Kirrahe, Shepard and squadmates, right?
