🤣🤣🤣 They killed a character twice. They either didn't bother to keep track of SW lore or they don't care. The Kenobi show is not worth watching. I feel sorry for Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. They're the ones trying to keep SW lore on track but the rest at Disney are chopping the tracks from beneath the train. After seeing what the Mouse did to SW with those "movies", that's not really surprising.

Whoever planned this sequence did a horrible job. Someone suggested it would have been better for her guards coming upon her meeting the bad guys. They fight, giving Leia the time to run. She ran to a distance, turned to look and saw her guards cut down which should make an impact on her. She paused in shock / horror then continued to run when the bad guys chase after her (really going all out) instead of bumbling about as if they have three left legs, unable to keep up with a child who's running slowly. Kenobi growing the same three left legs chasing her. It would have been smarter to have short clips showing her darting under stuff that stymied him instead of showing him running slowly after her and failing to get her when it's clear he could.

So now they're stealing titles of established EU projects and making their own half-assed stories under those titles?

He wasn’t stabbed in a vital organ. Pretty sure there’s even scenes in the trailers we see him in that haven’t been in the show yet. If he wasn't killed there should be some sort of backlash for Sister 3's actions from the other Inquisitors unless Vader backs her. If the Grand Inquisitor is really dead i think Kenobi's version of the character will be retconned into being a predecessor. My biggest peeve is that the Grand Inquisitor is a Pau'an while Kenobi's GI looks nothing like the live action portrayal of his species that we saw in RoTS.

Perhaps that’s why they go to Vader as shown in the trailer to judge her. I do agree that they could have made him look more like that. I do think the actor does a really good job portraying how he was in Rebels.

My favorite scene from the first two episodes has to be the short encounter with Obi-Wan and the homeless clone. It was beautifully done, from his initial fearful reaction to hearing a clone’s voice to letting go of those feelings as he sees the clone and this all clones is exactly like him and the remaining Jedi: betrayed, abandoned, and now with nothing as they scrape by to survive.

I’ pretty sure they’re just hurting the GI enough to sideline him in favor of the villain that lacks plot armor.

Don't feel too bad for Filoni since he completely retconned Kanan's backstory on the first episode of Bad Batch.

Some posters recently mentioned Tales of the Jedi and I remembered something. In Mass Effect the way the Rachni were discovered by exploring unexplored Mass Relay routes. Doesn't it remind anyone of the two young explorers in Tales of the Jedi, who were exploring unexplored hyperspace routes and instead discovered the ancient Sith Empire. Which led to the Great Hyperspace War.

With KoTOR being littered with references to the Tales of The Jedi series it wouldn't surprise me if the Rachni War was partly inspired by ToTJ lore, but i think the Rachni War might be a homage to Starship Troopers too.

Oh yeah, Starship Troopers was an inspiration for the Rachni Wars no doubt. I just meant how they were first discovered and how it led to a war, was similar to how the ancient Sith were discovered by the two young explorers in ToTJ. Also the ancient Sith thousands of years before the comic were discovered by accident by the Dark Jedi that fled the Republic during the first Jedi Civil War. In KOTOR 2 Kreia mentions the first JCW.
